Among Zola couples marrying in Denver, June, September, and October are the most popular months. Denver's high-altitude climate brings warm, sunny days and cool evenings during summer, making June ideal for outdoor ceremonies with Rocky Mountain backdrops and garden estate receptions. September offers perfect conditions as temperatures moderate into the 70s, aspens begin changing color in the foothills, and summer crowds thin out. October delivers spectacular fall foliage and crisp mountain air, with daytime temps still comfortable for outdoor celebrations. Winter months can be unpredictable with occasional snowstorms, though venues with mountain views shine during fresh snowfall. Spring brings variable weather with afternoon thunderstorms, but May and early June reward couples with wildflower blooms at garden estates and mountain-view venues.
Denver's 100-guest budget range of around $27,900 to $41,900 (according to the ZWCI) sits above the national median total of $25,000 and below the metro average of around $50,100, both from Zola's 2026 Wedding Spend Survey of 720 couples. This positions Denver as moderately priced for a metropolitan area—higher than non-metro regions but more affordable than coastal cities. Compared to nearby Colorado Springs, where 100-guest weddings run around $25,400 to $38,200, Denver trends slightly higher, reflecting its larger metro market and premium venue options. Denver couples benefit from competitive pricing relative to other metro areas while gaining access to distinctive mountain-view venues, urban loft spaces, and garden estates that capitalize on the city's dramatic natural setting along the Front Range.
For Denver wedding venues, booking 12 to 18 months in advance is recommended, especially if you're planning a wedding during peak season. Summer months from June through September are the most popular, when couples take advantage of Colorado's beautiful weather and mountain views. Spring and early fall dates also book quickly, particularly at venues near popular areas like Cherry Creek and RiNo.
If you're planning a wedding during the off-season (November through March), you may have more flexibility and could book successfully with 6 to 9 months' notice. According to the Zola Wedding Cost Index, the median venue starting price in Denver is around $3,500 based on Zola marketplace data. Popular weekend dates at sought-after locations can fill up even earlier, so start your venue search as soon as you've set your guest count and settled on a season.

RiNo (River North Art District) has emerged as a trendy wedding destination with galleries, breweries, and creative event spaces that showcase Denver's artistic side. Washington Park provides a more traditional setting with tree-lined streets and access to the park's natural beauty, while Capitol Hill offers historic mansions and venues with architectural charm. Many venues across these neighborhoods provide stunning Rocky Mountain backdrops. Based on Zola marketplace data, venue prices in Denver range from around $2,500 to $7,000 depending on location and capacity.
