A little fun stuff about me: I believe in goodnight kisses and holding hands as you fall asleep. My wife and I have been married for 10 years and share our house with four furry children, a foster kiddo or two, and two sons, Easton and Finn. I’m often quiet, but I could talk about The Bachelorette for hours. I believe that exploring is more important than getting to your destination. I believe the perfect day is an afternoon in the mountains & a night cuddling at home. I re-read my favorite books because a good story never gets old. I believe in planning your dreams

    One of a kind photography!

    Working with Jennie is always such a pleasure! Not only does her work always blow us away, but she also has amazing communication skills. Jennie knows exactly what she is doing and is full of professionalism, but also shows her sweet and caring nature while we are working together. Any time Jennie is the wedding photographer while we are planning, we know that the clients are in great hands because she takes such great care of them at all times!

My goal at every wedding is to capture the essence of your day. I want you to look back at your photos and really feel every moment of your celebration. I live for small, intimate moments, for emotion, and for the story between people. I love photos that capture the environment and look for the epic views and beautiful light everywhere I go. Most importantly I want your photos to feel like you.
You won’t believe how many people say this when we first talk. And I get it. It can feel very vulnerable to have a camera on you. My job is to help you loosen up by taking the focus off the camera and putting it on each other. I use a mix of prompts, activities, and conversations to get you moving, interacting, and laughing. I’ve had so many people tell me after a session, “wow, that was fun!”
Yes! I’m the kind of person who is always dreaming of their next trip. I love exploring new places with no expectations. I think some of my best work comes from places I’ve never been to before because I approach everything with fresh eyes.
You’ll receive your full wedding gallery in 6-8 weeks. You’ll have your engagement session images in about 3 weeks. If you’re comfortable with it, I will post a few sneak peeks to social media in the week following your wedding or engagement session.
Yes! Let’s get to know each other! I have small kids, and I know your lives are busy, so I like to set up video chats whenever possible. FaceTime or Zoom give us a chance to see each other, while we chat. If meeting in person is important to you, I’m happy to grab a drink or a cup of coffee at any point during our time working together.
I’m a Nikon girl and I shoot with two camera bodies at all times. I’m currently using: D750 + 35mm 1.4 + 50mm 1.8 + 85mm 1.8 + 105mm 2.8 + 135mm 2.0 I also use off camera flash when needed, but mostly for receptions.
