Cadillac Service Garage is located in the heart of downtown Greensboro. As we renovated this historic 1921 Cadillac Dealership, we respected its character and kept the exposed brick walls, original black & white marble Showroom floor and lofty 30' ceilings with skylights. We added only "real" materials like concrete, brick, steel, reclaimed wood and glass in bringing the old building back to life as a wedding venue. The result is a truly unique, handcrafted, industrial urban-renewal work of art! Cadillac Service Garage features a private Terrace Courtyard, gorgeous architectural features, industrial texture and a Wandering Garden for photography, multiple indoor & outdoor ceremony locations, two large, well-appointed private suites with early access, two built-in bars, a built-in stage, on-site parking, custom-built farm tables & Chiavari chairs, and custom lighting that includes permanent (indoor & outdoor) festoon string lights.

How we choose these wedding venues

Downtown Greensboro and surrounding neighborhoods like Fisher Park, Revolution Mill, and Irving Park offer excellent venue options with strong local character. The downtown area appeals to couples who want walkability for guests staying in nearby hotels, along with iconic backdrops like the Greensboro Arboretum and Guilford Courthouse National Military Park for photos. Revolution Mill, a former textile mill turned mixed-use development, brings industrial loft charm to the scene. Fisher Park and Irving Park feature tree-lined streets and historic mansions that create elegant settings. Lindley Park offers garden estates near the beautiful Bog Garden at Benjamin Park. Downtown venues often provide the convenience of restaurants, bars, and accommodations within walking distance, making it easier for out-of-town guests to enjoy the full wedding weekend in Greensboro.
Among Zola couples marrying in Greensboro, May, September, and October are the most popular months. Spring in Greensboro brings mild temperatures and blooming gardens, making May ideal for outdoor ceremonies at venues near the Greensboro Arboretum or garden estates. September offers comfortable weather as summer heat fades, with lower humidity and beautiful early fall light perfect for photos. October is peak fall wedding season, when the trees around Fisher Park and Irving Park display vibrant autumn colors. Summers can be hot and humid, while winters are generally mild but unpredictable. Late spring and early fall provide the most reliable weather conditions, comfortable temperatures for guests, and gorgeous natural settings. The popularity of May, September, and October means booking well in advance is essential for your preferred venue.
Greensboro's 100-guest budget range of around $25,300 to $38,000 (according to the ZWCI) is above the national median total of $25,000 and below the metro average of around $50,100, both from Zola's 2026 Wedding Spend Survey of 720 couples. This positions Greensboro as a solid mid-range market. Compared to nearby North Carolina cities, Greensboro offers better value: Charlotte runs around $27,200 to $40,800, Raleigh around $27,700 to $41,600, and Asheville around $28,700 to $43,100 for 100 guests. You'll generally spend around $2,000 to $5,000 less in Greensboro than in these larger metros while still accessing quality venues, vendors, and amenities. For couples seeking North Carolina charm without the premium pricing of Charlotte or Asheville, Greensboro delivers excellent value.
For popular dates in Greensboro, plan to book your venue 12 to 18 months in advance. Spring (April and May) and fall (September through November) are peak wedding seasons in North Carolina, and the most sought-after venues fill up quickly for Saturday evenings during these months. If you're planning a wedding during peak season, starting your venue search 18 months out gives you the best selection. For off-peak months like January, February, or July and August, you may have more flexibility and can often secure a great venue with 9 to 12 months' notice. Based on Zola marketplace data, the median starting price for venues in Greensboro is around $3,500, with options ranging from about $3,000 to $7,200, and competition for lower-priced venues tends to be especially strong during peak season.
Greensboro offers wedding venues throughout the city, though specific neighborhood data is limited compared to larger metro areas. Most couples search for "wedding venues in Greensboro NC" or "wedding venues in the Greensboro NC area" rather than focusing on particular districts, which reflects the city's character as a cohesive community rather than a collection of distinct wedding neighborhoods. You'll find venues distributed across the greater Greensboro area, from downtown locations with historic architecture to suburban settings with outdoor space and garden options. According to the Zola Wedding Cost Index, couples planning a 100-guest wedding in Greensboro typically budget around $25,300 to $38,000 total, with the venue representing about $3,900 to $5,900 of that amount.
