The owners have done a phenomenal job renovating this church. It’s the perfect space for hosting a variety of events. I created a custom floral mural in one of the rooms, and Natalie and Michael were wonderful to work for. They are attentive, considerate, honest, have an eye for design, and truly care about the space they curated for future attendees.

We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to host our wedding at Serenity Ridge! We chose this venue because we wanted a beautiful mountain setting in NC where our family and friends could stay on property, and Serenity Ridge exceeded all our expectations. One of the things that set it apart is that the property is exclusively yours all weekend, making the experience private and completely focused on your event. Serenity Ridge is an incredible value. Their pricing is more of an “all-inclusive” model, covering the venue rental, lodging for 30 guests, catering, bartending, setup & cleanup, rentals... you name it. When you consider everything included, the cost is unbeatable — and it makes planning so much easier! The team at Serenity Ridge was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the planning process. Haley answered all my questions with patience and kindness (and there were a lot!), providing great vendor recommendations and guidance along the way. On the wedding weekend, the staff was flexible, accommodating, and attentive, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. From exceptionally clean lodging to early and late check-ins, they truly go above and beyond for their guests. We hosted both our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Serenity Ridge, and the food was nothing short of amazing. Our guests are still raving — it’s not just “good wedding food,” it’s incredible restaurant quality. The staff during the events was also incredible. When rain started just 20 minutes before our ceremony, they quickly moved everything inside and then seamlessly flipped the pavilion from ceremony to reception in no time during cocktail hour without impacting the guest experience. Despite the brief rain, the day went perfectly, and we were rewarded with stunning sunset views later in the evening. I cannot say enough good things about Serenity Ridge, the location, and the staff. They truly care about their couples and strive to make your vision a reality. Hosting our wedding here was the best decision we made!

DECIDING ON THE VENUE: We recently got married at Mountain Brook Vineyards in June. We can’t say enough about how perfect everything was. It truly was the best venue. While we were deciding on a venue, Rebecca made time to give us a virtual tour of the venue because we lived in different states. After seeing how beautiful the venue was, how wonderful the staff was, and how accommodating Rebecca was, we decided to go with Mountain Brook Vineyards for our wedding. REHEARSAL DINNER: We decided to have our rehearsal dinner at Mountain Brook. The rehearsal dinner may be our favorite part of everything. It was truly magical being able to have our rehearsal dinner outside under the lights in a vineyard. Mountain Brook also allowed us to do a welcome celebration at the venue where we had drinks and s'mores for guests. THE WEDDING DAY: Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful it was. It has so many gorgeous spots for pictures, and they turned out amazing. The ceremony location was perfect for an elegant ceremony. The vines in the background made our pictures look great. Mountain Brook provided shuttles for all our guests to and from the ceremony location, and provided our guests with wine prior to the ceremony. The reception center is about as perfect as it could be. Even with minimal decorating, the area was beautiful with the wine barrels on the wall. It is big enough to fit plenty of guests (we had approximately 120), but also small enough where it doesn't feel like there is too much empty space. STAFF: If you get married at Mountain Brook, you feel like you are part of the family right away. The staff are all wonderful. They are helpful and make you feel like you are not just another couple getting married but actually important. They even got on the dance floor to celebrate with us. Rebecca is one of the most amazing wedding coordinators there is. She is extremely helpful, offers up ideas, and was able to bring all of our ideas to life. She is one of the nicest and most fun people you could meet. She and the rest of the staff are very laid back and let you make your wedding day what you want. AFTER THE WEDDING: Rebecca let us clean up the day after which was amazing. The day after the wedding, Rebecca went above and beyond to look for something sentimental that I had lost during the wedding. She even dug through the trash to find it. We truly cannot say enough good things about Mountain Brook Vineyards and we would recommend everyone have their wedding there. We definitely feel like part of the family and will visit often.

Recent renovations even made a fully enclosed bar area perfect for sipping and staying warm in the winter. We had 35 people and it was the perfect size even though 35 was the maximum number of guests. Overall, not a chance in a million years I would prefer any other venue. After the barn had been completed, work began on the main house. He built a rock veneered masterpiece, large enough to house his 7 children. Waldensian Heritage Venues provided a truly unique and memorable experience for my client’s wedding. The venue had a mysterious and authentic ambiance and reasonable price point. The layout was easy to navigate, which made it simple to keep the bride and groom separate before the ceremony. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful lighting at the top of the stairs, which created a stunning backdrop for our first look photos. Overall, Waldensian Heritage Venues exceeded our expectations and helped make our special day even more magical.

From our first interaction when I showed up to walk the grounds before the couple's wedding, he was welcoming, helpful, and totally on top of every detail, and I appreciated that so much. His calm presence on the wedding day allowed the couple, their families, and all of the vendors to truly enjoy the moment. Landon and the team moved around effortlessly to ensure that the timelines were running smoothly and not one detail was missed, all while checking in on everyone and creating a kind and stress-free experience. Working with Separk was super easy from start to finish. We had Hannah as our wedding coordinator and she did a great job with creating and sticking to the timeline. She also did great at setting up our decor items and some flowers we brought to the venue. She was very communicative with us and our bridal party/family so that everyone knew what was expected from them for the ceremony. Overall we had a great experience with Separk and had the most perfect wedding thanks to them!

Having Laurel Falls for four days and three nights was an absolute game-changer for our wedding weekend. It gave us the chance to truly connect and celebrate with our guests, most of whom traveled from all over the country. It’s rare to get that kind of extended, quality time with your favorite people, and it made the entire experience so much more meaningful and relaxed. From start to finish, the Laurel Falls team was incredible. Their communication was always fast, friendly, and detailed, which made planning from Denver so much easier. The setup and teardown crew was fantastic. They made sure every detail of the property was perfectly arranged for our wedding day. We used Ceremony Rock, the barn, barn deck, and barn patio, and each space offered its own unique charm and breathtaking views. We also hosted a bonfire the night before our wedding, and the team even provided the firewood! It was such a fun and cozy way to kick off the weekend with our guests. Every cabin and the venue itself came fully stocked and thoughtfully prepared, which was such a relief after traveling. From the stunning mountain views to the well-maintained grounds and comfortable accommodations, everything exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Laurel Falls to anyone considering it as a wedding venue. The setting is magical, the team is wonderful, and I truly wouldn’t change a single thing about our experience. It was the perfect blend of beauty, comfort, and connection, a weekend we’ll never forget.

Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of, and we truly could not have asked for a more incredible venue and team to share it with. We honestly can not say enough about them and their beautiful venue. From the very beginning, everyone went above and beyond to make us feel supported, valued, and cared for. Planning a wedding is stressful on its own, but after the unexpected loss of my mom, we had to postpone our original wedding date. During one of the most difficult times in our lives, the entire team showed us so much compassion, patience, flexibility, and kindness. They treated us like family, and that level of care is something we will never forget. When our wedding day finally arrived, every detail was absolutely perfect. The venue was stunning, everything ran seamlessly, and the staff anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. They made us feel so relaxed and truly allowed us to soak in every moment with our family and friends. What sets this venue apart isn't just the beautiful space—it's the incredible people behind it. Their genuine kindness, professionalism, and dedication made our day even more special than we ever imagined. They didn't just host our wedding; they helped create memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. If you're looking for a venue with a team that truly cares about their couples and will go above and beyond every step of the way, look no further. Kris, Kelly, and Denise are your girls! We are endlessly grateful for everything they did for us and cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you for making one of the most important days of our lives so incredibly beautiful.

If I were to tell you my true feelings about Twisty Maple and event manager Jessie, you would probably think I'm obsessed and I would probably run out of characters. So read this review with the idea that I'm working on 50% capacity here. Twisty Maple was absolutely, positively the best venue my partner and I could have picked to host our family and friends for a wedding ceremony and celebration. It felt like a home away from home, not only because my family set up shop and stayed in the house for a week leading up to our wedding; but also because of the warmth and care that guests can feel built into every inch of the place. My partner and I chose Twisty as our venue as soon as we had a virtual call and tour with Jessie, before we had even seen the space in person. We we so immediately at ease with Jessie, who already felt like a family friend, and could tell that she cared deeply about the home and property. Jesse and the Twisty team genuinely want to share the space with folks, evidenced by a willingness to host atypical activities (I was at one point convinced I wanted an on-site smoker for a whole hog and Jessie was totally game) and offering of a garageful of event decor at no cost (including signage, bud vases, candle holders, baskets, barrels, and SO much more). Leading up to the big day, Jessie graciously offered her contact information to my and my partner's moms for any logistical questions related to the home rental, which helped enormously in saving time and stress. We were greeted by a welcome sign with the names of family members staying at the home and a thoughtful gift basket with goodies for my partner and I, including keepsake Twisty Maple mugs which are adorable. It was so great to have the space leading up to our event for family time and DIY-ing and resting. I am so grateful to Jessie for sharing Twisty Maple with my family and friends. The space will forever hold such a special space in my heart and I hope you, dear reader, have the opportunity to make unforgettable memories here too.
