The Event on Sunnybrook is a premier Wedding reception hall located in Brimfield & Kent, OH. You can go simple at our venue, but when you go elegant and extravagant there really are no words! You're left absolutely speechless!!! We do not host weddings on Sundays!

Incredibly private and quiet - where you can enjoy the serenity of nature and marvel that places like this still exist. On a clear night with no moon - you can see the stars like nowhere else in Ohio. Our newly remodeled log cabin lodge has all the modern amenities that you need to plan a beautiful wedding. We also offer 11 log cabins for you and your guests to stay and enjoy the whole weekend. Six of the log cabins are completely remodeled and have their own bathrooms and kitchenettes. The other 5 log cabins are family style glamping with access to a shower/restroom within 50 feet of each cabin. All our log cabins have central heat and air conditioning! Our space has a lodge like feel with post and beam construction, 2 large fireplaces, a moose head and lots of dark handsome woodwork. 2 of our rooms have large windows overlooking our pond and fountain. We have 2 bars, and 38 outside tables. Our front patio has a large stone gas fireplace and our back patio overlooks the pond.

Karrikin Spirits Company is a Cincinnati based craft distillery and event space in Fairfax, committed to exploring our love of flavors with the community. By definition, karrikins are the elements found in the smoke from a forest fire that trigger the regeneration of that forest. In the centuries since Whiskey Hollow was settled, those karrikins have been at work to bring distilling back to this very location on Cincinnati’s east side. In Spring of 2017, seven founding members with experience in brewing & distilling, woodworking, design, and more came together to purchase a building formerly occupied by Swallen’s and later, DnD Metal to start a journey of flavor and fire. From there, Karrikin Spirits Company was formed — a full-service, grain to glass distillery producing handcrafted spirits, sparkling spirits, non-alcoholic sodas, and beer.
