DJ Ryan Goodie has 15 years of experience in the wedding and nightclub industries as a DJ/MC, and as a guitarist. He has many great reviews and recommendations, and has worked for the biggest Wedding DJ companies in Colorado as their most requested DJ. He provides a perfect ceremony with top quality sound, lights, photo booth, and an unforgettable dance party. Every portion of the event is crafted to the client's needs, and he has a large selection of music of all genres for any age. He is there to serve with no ego, and has all the equipment needed for any situation. We have event insurance, and are preferred vendors at many wedding venues.
What sets me apart from most DJ's in the wedding industry is that I have so much experience keeping the dance floor moving, for all ages. I am a clear and confident wedding MC who knows how to engage an audience of any size and demographic. I have held DJ residencies in the best and biggest nightclubs in Colorado, some that have lasted over a decade. I was the main DJ resident at Boulder's best dance party at Tahona, which won the Best Of Boulder award for best dance spot many years in a row. I was a regular at Denver's Local 46 (one of Denver's best live music venues for many years), and Cervante's. Performed at Beta and many other venues.

The Best Wedding DJ!
Ryan was a fantastic DJ, and was helpful throughout the entire process. We worked with him to incorporate specific songs throughout the cocktail hour and reception, and he made sure to include them on top of using his experience to make the dance party engaging the whole night. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Ryan with 2 Shoes Entertainment was key to making our wedding the best night ever. He did such a fantastic job at our wedding! He's a true professional who was so easy to work with, made great suggestions, and kept our dance floor packed all night. He was so good at playing to the crowd and knowing what was going to keep everyone on the dance floor. He asked a lot of questions ahead of time to collect all the information about what we wanted, and then he totally captured the vibe we wanted. We give Ryan the highest recommendation - he will make your wedding awesome!

Our wedding experience
When we first spoke with the owner, Ryan, it was a year and 7 months before our wedding. We did not connect with him but felt that his colleague Jay was a good match. We booked Jay in May 2025 for our wedding in Sept 2026. We had a call with Ryan in Aug 2026. At that time, we provided links for our important songs. We discussed not having a day of coordinator or a cultivated playlist and there did not appear to be an issue with either. We still felt that Jay was the best fit for us. 26 days before our wedding, Ryan emailed us to say that he was going to be our DJ because Jay had "a family thing." We asked if there were any DJs like Jay that we could talk with. Within 20 minutes, we received several emails from Ryan: Providing another DJ’s name, telling us to look at his own reviews, asking how he could work on his personality and providing upgrades if we chose him. Before we could respond, he sent a fourth email to say that Jay would be our DJ. The "family thing" was his niece's baby shower. While frustrated, we let it go because they had worked things out. On our final call with Jay, we re-sent our important songs because he had not received them from Ryan. During our rehearsal dinner, Jay texted us to say that he had lost his notes and so we provided the songs a third time. On wedding day, we noticed that our 4 PM ceremony had started without us. When asked, Jay said that they needed to stall due to the shuttle being late. It was 4:04 PM. Because of that, we said our vows shortly after walking down the aisle and missed both the opening of the ceremony and the reading that was most meaningful to us. There were many issues that followed during the reception: Jay leaving the DJ booth to go outside and be on his phone; Having a sparse dance floor and not adjusting the music to reengage the crowd; Songs stopping and then restarting. Before the wedding, Jay saw our timeline and made adjustments. He knew when shuttles would arrive/depart, the time the last song had to be played and that we wanted to have a last private dance. As one song ended, he announced that it had been the last and that everyone needed to leave. The lights came on and the reception was over. An indication that we were nearing the end of the night (last call, announcing shuttle departure times, noting the last song) never occurred. We and our guests stood there, confused. Comments were made by they and us about the abrupt ending. Jay told us that some upset guests had spoken to him unkindly and we apologized for their behavior. We later asked for a call with Ryan. We felt that a refund was warranted and wanted him to understand how disappointing the whole experience had been. It could not have gone worse. He cut us off, made excuses and hung up on us. He did not offer an apology or take any responsibility. He repeatedly told us that it was our fault for not choosing him over Jay, said that things would have gone differently if we had hired a coordinator and mentioned his own medical bills. Regarding Jay, Ryan's said: "Of course he didn't want to be there! He told you that when he tried to cancel!" When we hired Two Shoes, we did not expect perfection. We expected professionals who could perform the responsibilities of DJing our wedding. When we later tried to share our concerns, we were not met with empathy, but rather with blame and an unwillingness to have a conversation. To say that we are disappointed and unsatisfied would be an understatement.

Amazing DJ!
Ryan was the best DJ we could have asked for our wedding in August 2026, from the start he was very detail oriented and helped us make decisions for the big day we hadn’t even considered yet. The audio including the microphones etc was flawless and the dance party was jumping. Ryan stuck to our vision for the night and we are so grateful that we hired him! Would recommend to anyone

We had such an amazing time with Ryan as our DJ! He was so professional, easy to work with, and he made our day so incredibly smooth. He made sure the vibes were absolutely perfect from the start of the ceremony through the final send off. We are so happy with our choice, we cannot recommend him to other couples enough!
