Really when it comes down to it the reason Ackerman Weddings & Events was started is to help couples create their dream weddings and help relieve the stress that can come with weddings and making sure everything is perfect and goes off without a hitch.

We are an easy going group of DJ's that really just want your wedding day to be as stress free as possible so if something comes up and we need to pivot we pivot. We strive to create as first class an experience for you as we can.

    Grade A service

    I'm a wedding planner here in Omaha and I have met a lot of different vendors. I've worked with Zach and I think he is an exceptional DJ. It's a nice range of music he's easy to work with and he's very very goal oriented. As far as making sure that the couple that hires him has the best possible event. I would recommend him for your next event!!

    Ackerman Weddings has continually been one of the best DJs that I've work with in the Omaha and Lincoln area. Zach is extremely refreshing to collaborate with after my fair share of experiences with 'bro' like DJs in the wedding industry. He is extremely professional, thoughtful and knows how to go above and beyond for his clients.

Yes we do! We also make it simple for you and your guests to add requests before the event through our online portal. Don't worry though it you can't remember all your requests... we will take request day of as well.
Yes! If you would like us to do your ceremony or cocktail hour we most certainly can.
We typically will set up an hour to an hour and a half early depending on the package you book.
Yes we offer dance floor lighting standard in all our packages. We also offer a digital Photobooth as well as monograms.
We typically will wear more of a business casual (button up shirt, suit jacket, and slacks) unless otherwise directed from our couples
