Hi, I'm Dani (Diva Summer) - an open-format DJ experienced in a large range of genres from hip-hop and R&B, to country, cumbia, top 40s and everything in between! I enjoy incorporating many different sounds into my sets and introducing people to music they haven't heard before.

I'm a black queer fem and disabled DJ that plays for any and everybody! I really prioritize making my sets accessible for a wide variety of people across different cultures and experiences. I'm very open-minded and flexible and will happily do what's needed to make your event special for you!

Optional add-on to the general or reception package. Lighting is a lot more fragile and adds to my setup/teardown time. I do not do strobes - this is to keep my sets accessible and enjoyable for all guests.

    Can’t wait to book Dani again!

    We had Dani come out for our Open House to welcome neighbors and small businesses to our restoration project. They didn’t disappoint. Extremely easy to work with, professional, great sound and great music. We’re looking forward to booking again!

    She’s Amazing

    She did an AMAZING job DJing my party! She had such a great variety of music and kept the energy going all night. Everyone had a great time, and she really knew how to keep the crowd entertained and dancing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for an incredible DJ. I will absolutely be booking with her again for my future events!

    Perfect DJ for any atmosphere

    I originally booked Diva Summer for what I thought would be a very energetic and pop dance party. However, the guests and me and my partner were in a much different, more relaxed mood the day of our wedding. Diva Summer was able to adjust right there on the fly. She played the perfect balance of dance music and conversational, chill music that was needed to keep our reception pleasant, enjoyable, and upbeat but not crazy. Would definitely book her again and recommend her to all my friends!

    Incredible DJ, Professional and fun!

    Dani recently DJed our wedding reception and it was a blast. Excellent presentation and great music taste. Can’t recommend enough.

Yes! As an open-format DJ with over 5 years of experience, I have a large range and am always looking to discover new music!
That is completely up to you. I usually ask my clients for a playlist beforehand so I have a good idea of the general vibe, as well as any necessary songs you really want to hear. Most of my clients in the past do not want me to take requests, as it can usually detract from their desired energy/sound for the night.
At least an hour!
I'll travel anywhere from Dallas without a fee as long as its within a 2 hour drive round-trip. Any round-trip drive between 2-5 hours is a travel fee of $200, and 5+ hours is $400.
Not only are there not many black queer women in this space, but I also really try to prioritize reaching everyone in the room regardless of who they are. I'm dedicated to making people dance, laugh, and forget their troubles a little bit for such a joyous occasion. Also people just tell me I'm really fun and cool :)
