Fingerlakes Entertainment is DJ Boolanger, DJ & MC Nathan Baker, a three-time Best of Zola winner (2024, 2025, 2026). Nathan is a modern, open-format video and music DJ who specializes in weddings across the Finger Lakes, Rochester, Syracuse, Ithaca, the Southern Tier, Western NY and the Adirondacks, with northern PA available too. He handles DJ/MC, lighting and photo booths, and he's fun, professional and focused on giving you and your guests a relaxed, memorable day. With almost 20 years behind the mic, he's a wealth of experience, and a fun one.

Best MC EVER!
Nathan is such a great guy to work with and he really brings the party!! He and I clicked from the first call when he immediately understood my vision and started suggesting artists that were exactly what I was looking for. Music is very important to me and I knew I wanted someone who wasn’t going to play around when I was spending a lot of money. Nathan understood exactly what I was looking for and more than delivered! The pictures of me dancing during the reception are wild LOL. He was also a great MC, pivoting when things didn’t go exactly to plan, acknowledging my grandmother-in-law and fitting in a last minute mother-son dance. MOST memorably he even took my plate and escorted me through the buffet line so I didn’t have to carry it myself - now that’s service. Would totally hire Nathan again for another party!!

The best to do it - 10/10
We hired Fingerlakes Entertainment for our wedding and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Nathan was easy to work with from the start—his survey was detailed and made it simple to share exactly what we wanted. He listened to our ideas and really understood our vision, whether it was the DJ selections or the photobooth setup. Our dash photo experience turned out amazing because of his energy and the music he chose for the moment. The photobooth team was on top of everything, making sure we got all the pictures we wanted. What stood out most was seeing Nathan genuinely enjoy himself throughout the night—that kind of enthusiasm is contagious and made our whole celebration feel more fun.

Fantastic!
Nate was fantastic! He had our dance floor going all night long! He was super easy to work with and even with our last minute changes due to weather, he was super flexible. All of our guests loved him!

Fingerlakes Entertainment as Wedding DJ
Highly recommended. Smooth interactions in all planning, good meeting to discuss wedding music needs and great help on the actual day of the wedding reception. Nathan provided great support in an MC role. He had some very interesting/fun ways to get couples out on the dance floor. He made the day easy and successful and eventful. The dance floor was full much of the evening.

Best Night Ever!
Nathan helped make our wedding day so special! Throughout the planning process, he took the time to really go through the details of our day and get to know us. He got excited about our ideas and gave great suggestions on how to bring them to life. On the wedding day, Nathan helped make sure everything ran smoothly, coordinating with other vendors and our friends and family to make sure everyone had what they needed from before the ceremony through the end of the night. He knew we wanted to do our first dance and toasts outside during cocktail hour, right before sunset, so he made sure to check in with us to get the timing just right, and it was magical! During dinner, we had curated a playlist of first dance songs from our guests, and he helped create so many special moments by encouraging folks to get up and dance when they heard their song, and stayed flexible when we were ready to get dancing started. The reception was an absolute blast and my dream dance floor. The end of the night was perfection with several "last songs" and getting to soak it all in in a circle of our favorite people. Nathan is an expert and the whole night flowed so perfectly with so many core memories created. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
