I am DJ Joey B, owner of Joey’s DJ Service based in Durham, NC. I have been DJing professionally since 2005, with weddings as a major focus of my work. On your wedding day, I serve as both DJ and Master of Ceremonies, guiding the timeline, managing transitions, and keeping guests engaged from ceremony through the final song. I provide professional sound, wireless microphones, and clean lighting to support the full experience. Planning is clear and streamlined with an online portal for music selections, Do Not Play songs, and key details.

AMAZING DJ

On the day of, he showed why he's worth every penny—when unexpected delays threw off our timeline, he adjusted announcements on the fly and kept everything running smooth. His sound system was excellent and his song choices really set the right tone for each part of the night. He had a gift for knowing exactly when to play guest requests and when to stick with his own picks, which kept the energy up the whole time and the dance floor lively. A mildly flawed, but overall great experience
I liked Joey as soon as we talked as he seemed to understand our vision. There were a few misshaps that day (forgot to play our song after the ceremony, played a song overlaying ours at our first dance, and then songs at the end of the night I did not request). But he’s a really good guy and definitely cares about his job. We were dancing all night!
