Just Wilson Entertainment is a Twin Cities wedding entertainment company built on one idea: your reception should be the night your guests won't stop talking about. Owner Justin Wilson has been behind the decks since 2012 and has DJ'd over 600 events. He doesn't press play and hide behind a laptop — he reads the room live, works the mic, and runs your timeline so the night moves the way you planned it. You're also booking one team instead of three. DJ, MC and photobooth come from the same insured company: one contract, one setup, one number for your coordinator to call. Veteran-owned and Black-owned. Serving the Twin Cities metro.
One team, not three vendors. Most couples hire a DJ, then an uncle with a microphone, then a photobooth company with its own contract and load-in. Justin brings all three, so nothing falls through the cracks at 9pm when the schedule slips. He works the mic. Plenty of DJs play music and say as little as possible. Justin emcees — introductions, announcements, moving the room from dinner to dancing with no dead air. He reads the room live. Your must-plays and do-not-plays are honored exactly; everything else adjusts to what is actually working on the night. Fully insured, Certificate of Insurance to any venue.

Easy going and great entertainment
Just Wilson Entertainment was the perfect choice for our wedding DJ and band. From the moment we first spoke with Justin, his communication style was easy-going, intuitive, and fun. The quality of his work and value was outstanding - the lighting was great, his attitude was amazing, and he kept the night flowing smoothly and hyped up the crowd. We had an amazing time dancing the night away, as he truly kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. We couldn't have asked for a better team to be a part of our special day.

Justin was AWESOME to work with! From our first phone call, to planning out the vibe for our wedding to our reception! Made it super easy to add music to categories in his app to plan months in advance without having to sit down and decide in a singular moment or even a few days. SO many compliments from our guests about how great he was. He did our ceremony music, provided sound system for speeches and played music for our reception. The vibe was perfect throughout the night. Played all our music we wanted and didn't play anything from our do not play list. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for a wedding or other events! TRULY A FUN VIBE! Wouldn't have changed a thing! THANK YOU JUSTIN!

You two put real work into that planner months ahead of time, and it paid off on the night; I had a roadmap instead of guesswork. I ended up playing well past when I was supposed to stop because nobody would leave that floor — people straight up missed their shuttles. That doesn’t happen unless a room is locked in vibing out, and yours was. Bluff Country Barn was a beautiful setting for it, too. Congratulations again, and thank you for trusting me with it.

DJ Justin is simply the BEST! We've had him at 2 weddings and everyone had an amazing time. He is kind, thoughtful, and fun. His equipment is first rate, amazing sound and great lights. His help with announcements and toasts was invaluable. He selected an awesome playlist, the dance floor was packed from beginning to end-- with the crowd begging for more.
