Wedding DJ
From our first conversation with Lex-G Entertainment, we knew we had found the right DJ for our wedding. They were responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process, answering all our questions without hesitation. On the day of the wedding, they nailed our music selections and played nearly everything on our request list, which meant so much to us and our guests. Their song choices kept the dance floor packed all night, and they were genuinely helpful in making sure our vision came to life. The sound quality was crisp, the transitions were smooth, and they read the room perfectly to keep the energy going. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ service, and we'd absolutely recommend Lex-G Entertainment to any couple looking to make their reception unforgettable.

Poor experience
Unfortunately didn’t have a great experience. I’m only writing this review in hopes that another couple doesn’t get the same experience we did. One of the first interactions we had with Alex he told us most of our guest would be gone by 8pm cuz we had our ceremony “so early” (2pm) which we paid extra for him to be at. Just a little off putting. To begin, He didn’t download the brides walking down the aisle song so there was about a 3-5 minute wait for me to be able to walk down the aisle for him to get it to play. (Wouldn’t have been a big deal if this was the only mishap) Then heading into dinner & speeches. Instead of just grabbing a plate with a table or eating during speeches he interrupted the flow of the time line so he had a designated spot to eat. & I told the couple “I want to eat too” for the speeches (I made his job easy as I sent him a clear list of the order of speeches) after ate he came up to us & didn’t have the list of speeches and we had to take more time to tell him who was giving speeches even though the information was given to him well in advance. Making dinner run into reception time by 30 minutes which more guests were invited to. Then at the reception we gave him a list of music & preferred artists. & he wasn’t playing any of the music we had asked it took multiple people plus the bride to go up to him and ask him to play the music we asked. Overall not great & wouldn’t want another couple to be stuck with this experience. If your getting paid to do a service and they have requests for there big day I would hope any working professional would honor that.

Do not use Lex G Entertainment
We were extremely disappointed with Lex-G Entertainment on our wedding day. The DJ knew three to four days before the wedding that he couldn't make it, but didn't tell us until 30 minutes before the ceremony via text. They sent a different DJ we had never met instead of the person we hired and communicated with during planning. This replacement DJ ignored our playlist, skipped the bouquet toss and slow dances we requested, and didn't do the private last dance we had planned. He seemed out of touch with the room and guests left early because the energy felt off. When we tried to talk to him after the wedding, he was rude and dismissive with no apology or effort to make things right. We've had multiple guests tell us it was the worst DJ they've experienced at a wedding, and we have to agree.

A Disappointing Experience
Unfortunately, our experience with Alex was more stressful than we expected. Communication throughout the planning process was difficult, and there were several misunderstandings regarding our timeline and services that caused unnecessary stress leading up to our wedding. We also felt that our music preferences weren’t really being heard. We had put together a large playlist to give the DJ a good idea of the songs and overall vibe we wanted for our reception, but we were still asked to narrow it down to only a handful of songs. The music did improve as the night went on, and the dance floor became more enjoyable very late in the evening. During the reception, the DJ came up to both of us multiple times asking about when different things were supposed to happen, and at one point approached us with the worksheet we had filled out while we were out on the dance floor. We felt this was VERY unprofessional and took us out of the moment on our wedding night. We also had several guests mention that when they went up to request songs, they felt their requests were brushed off. Overall, we wish there had been better communication, preparation, and professionalism throughout the planning process and reception. I would recommend future couples make sure their timeline, music preferences, and expectations are very clearly discussed ahead of time.
