Music on the Move
We are so excited to have won Best of Zola three years running. We are a small, personalized mobile DJ business that entertains weddings all over New England. We work with you to design your reception using your preferences as a guide and our weddings are never cookie-cutter. In addition to DJ services, we can also supply fun portable Photo Booths, professional wireless uplighting, and unique Audio Guestbooks.
I believe what sets us apart is the planning that takes place before the wedding to ensure that the wedding is exactly what each couple wants. We don't go into any event with a plan of what's going to happen - instead we work with each couple to discuss every point of the reception and how it will be carried out. We then share this information with every other vendor that we will be working with so everyone is on the same page. It's the only way to ensure a successful reception.

Excellent DJ company
Music on the Move was outstanding from beginning to end. From the moment we reached out to Justin, he was extremely helpful in setting up a meeting to go through services offered. In the couple months leading up to our wedding John was always available to answer any questions we had, and he worked with us every step of the way to select the music and coordinate the timing of everything during our reception. John was an awesome DJ and he knew exactly which songs to play to keep our guests on the dance floor all night. We can't recommend Music on the Move enough for a wedding DJ!

We booked Music on the Move for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our choice. From the very first email, they responded quickly to every question we had, which made the planning process so smooth. They really understood our music taste and created a vibe that was exactly what we wanted - the song selection was awesome and kept things casual even during dinner. It was a small intimate wedding. So this was just what we needed in a D.J. Cocktail hour with a special speaker he had, amazing. Since we had the cocktail hour on a different floor, it worked so well!! The uplighting they brought was a huge hit with our guests, and they were super accommodating when we asked them to adjust the timeline for some special requests. Our friends and family had such a blast dancing to their set. We'd absolutely recommend Music on the Move to any couple looking for a dj that listens, delivers, and knows how to keep the energy going all night long.

Music on the Move was exactly what we were looking for in an MC. From our first conversation, they kept us in the loop and asked questions about what we wanted, offering smart recommendations for things we hadn't thought through yet. On the day of the wedding, they showed up on time and stuck to our schedule without any hiccups. Best DJ ever!!
My husband and I got married one year ago today & had the best reception ever thanks to John. We could not recommend working with him more!! He was receptive during the planning process and did a great job playing songs we wanted to hear and avoiding songs we didn’t want. Our friends constantly tell us how much fun they had at our wedding and the dance floor was truly packed ALL NIGHT. We also had the audio guestbook which is such a special memory. Best DJ Ever!
Music on the Move is amazing! Justin was so great to work with. He nailed every aspect of our wedding- the ceremony music & audio was perfect, cocktail hour and dinner was wonderful, and the reception was truly perfect! So many guests said Justin was awesome, and it was the best dancing they've had at a wedding. Also - the photo booth was a hit and our guests loved it. Thank you to Justin & his team!!! I couldn't recommend him more.
