About Serenade Wedding Ensemble

Serenade Wedding Ensemble

George Weis, Cello

We specialize in elegant live music for any event. Especially weddings. David and I started playing together in 2020 so that we could "serenade" residents of retirement communities under lockdown. We've remained friends and colleagues since.

My partner, David, and I have over fifty years of professional experience between us. We have played about one hundred events since our founding in 2020. Our music spans the best of classical and popular music. David is also a skilled arranger in addition to being a great player and will be happy to arrange your favorite song for your event if we do not already have it in our repertoire.

    Wedding music

I was married in a local church with a variety of people from my church as well as family and friends. The music really helped set the mood before as well as during the ceremony. The music was well appreciated by our guests, even by members of my church involved with the music programs. While I did not hear the whole of the postlude, I thought this group put on a wonderful program.

They recently played at my daughter’s wedding. They were easy to work with and even learned new pieces of music for the ceremony. They were on time and concerned that everything ran smoothly!
