About SwissMixx Audio

Mark Christiansen

Owner and Lead Sound Engineer

I'm Mark, and SwissMixx Audio is a one man shop based in Nampa. I've been mixing live sound for over 25 years, everything from backyard ceremonies to stadium shows, and weddings are still my favorite rooms to run. The person you talk to on the phone is the same guy who shows up, sets up, runs your music all night, and tears down after the last song. No handoffs, no B team.

I publish my prices, which nobody else in this market does. Wedding packages start at $2,500 and you can see every number on my website before we ever talk. I also treat ceremony audio as seriously as the dance floor, wireless mics for vows, backup gear for everything, and I've run sound next to touring acts like Garth Brooks. Your grandma hears the vows, your friends fill the floor.

    16 Performances Over 2 Days - Seamless!

Mark and Swiss Mixx were incredible to work with during our annual Summerfest. With 16 performances scheduled over the course of the weekend, we needed someone dependable, knowledgeable, and flexible—and Mark was all of those things. He was friendly and helpful with every performer, and he handled setup and teardown seamlessly without needing any assistance from our team. I especially appreciated how reliable and self-sufficient he was throughout such a busy weekend. Mark is highly knowledgeable, dependable, professional, and genuinely friendly to boot. We were so grateful to have him handling sound for Summerfest and would absolutely recommend Swiss Mixx.

We hired them for our company’s 2-year anniversary party, and they did an amazing job! The music was great, the energy was perfect, and they kept everyone having a great time throughout the night. Highly recommend them for any event!

Mark was awesome! Great equipment, seamless set up and great song library. I loved the QR code he gave us to make song requests. We had a great time!

Lane, thanks so much! Glad the QR requests were a hit. It's one of my favorite things to set up because it lets the guests help build the night. Thanks for having me! -Mark

If you are looking for a DJ look no further! Seriously, Mark brings more value and attention to detail than you can imagine. He just performed at my daughter's wedding and he brought so much experience and a truly first class sound system. He was able to mic myself (the officiant) as well as the bride and groom. He brought up lights, CO2 guns and an audio phone booth. He arrived early and stayed late. he even worked with a musician we hired to incorporate the two sound systems. And he is so kind, not only did he make sure that I ate but he brought my wife (the maid of honor) a plate of food to make sure that we did not go without. I could go on and on, but if you are looking for a true professional... Look no further. You found him!

Amazing sound, lights, and stage. The crew was very nice and accommodating to us. The Fox Brothers Band in SLC appreciates everything!
