About MAWA Coffee

MAWA Coffee is a specialty coffee bar based in San Antonio, serving weddings, engagement parties, and bridal & baby showers across San Antonio and the Hill Country. Growing up in San Antonio, you're surrounded by so many cultures and traditions, and that shaped who I am. I spent over five years as a barista here and in New York City, where I trained at Blue Bottle and really learned the craft. MAWA brings all of that together, and we'd love to be part of your celebration.

Every drink is made to order by trained baristas, using single-origin coffee roasted by GFN Coffee here in San Antonio. Our specialties, like the Date Latte with date syrup, sea salt & cardamom, give your guests something special to try. They can order as many drinks as they like, since our open bar is priced by guest count, and oat and almond milk are always included.

Weddings within 25 miles of downtown San Antonio have no travel fee. Farther events include a travel fee at the IRS standard mileage rate for each round-trip mile beyond 25 miles. It's always listed in your quote before you book.
Our packages start at 2 hours of service for up to 50 guests, with the Pour-Over Bar from $700 and the Espresso Bar from $850. Smaller celebrations are always welcome and are priced the same as 50 guests.
The best way to taste our coffee is to visit us at one of our pop-ups around San Antonio. You'll get to try the drinks and see the bar in person. Follow @themawacoffee on Instagram for upcoming dates, or reach out and we'll let you know where we'll be next.
Once you book, we'll set up a call to plan your menu, timing and setup. Seven days before the wedding, we'll confirm your final guest count and details. We're happy to hop on another call anytime in between if you have questions.
We suggest booking 6 to 8 weeks ahead, especially for weekend dates. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway. We reply within 48 hours and will let you know if we're available.
We're based in San Antonio and serve couples across the city and the Hill Country, including Boerne, New Braunfels, Helotes, Bulverde, Schertz and Seguin. Events more than 25 miles from downtown San Antonio include a travel fee.
From small gatherings to large events of 300+. Events over 100 guests get a custom quote. For larger groups, we recommend adding an hour so every guest is served without a wait.
