Owner & Lead Bartender

We offer estimates for service if contacted directly. Our staff have more than 25 years of bartending experience. We specialize in weddings, but can do any kind of private event. After years of being stuck with mundane corporate menus, only constructing vibrant and lively drinks at home for friends and family, and dreaming of owning my own bar, we decided to start The Parched Poppies.

Now we get to serve our favorite type of customer every time we tend bar. We have designed menus for a diverse pool of clients, offering from the classics to tailored, custom drinks. Thanks to my fabulous clients, we are growing as bartenders and as a business every year. Hydration Station

Description

Our hydration station includes four drink dispensers (1 iced tea, 1 lemonade, and 2 water stations) and the table for them to sit on. Provided with the package will be iced tea, lemonade, water, and the refilling of the dispensers for the duration of service. Water stations will include lemon water and cucumber mint water.

Coffee Nook

Description

Our coffee nook includes coffee and hot water, as well as cups, lids, and sleeves. We will provide the coffee, tea options, cream, sugar, and cups, as well as the table for this all to sit on.

Cocktail Tables

Description

Our cocktail tables include up to six bar height tables with black or white full length linens. We offer additional decor for your cocktail tables if you would like to add a little something extra to them. This includes glass or bronze candlestick holders, glass votives, and colored runners. If you are interested in cocktail table decor, please let us know.

Lawn Games

Description

Our lawn games include two games for your cocktail area. Game options include: Giant Jenga, Corn Hole, Ladder Toss, and Giant Connect Four.

    Best Bar Ever!

    Parched Poppies made our wedding so amazing! People could not stop talking about how cute the trailer is and how great the drinks were! Caroline and her team made sure there was never a line at the bar and kept the drinks flowing all night long. Caroline was a gem to work with from the first meeting. She made us comfortable throughout every step leading up to our wedding. She helped us find the best deals on liquor! Parched Poppies was the best choice we ever made for our wedding!

    The Parched Poppies was the most incredible vendor to work with. Their product knowledge was unmatched, and the drinks themselves were fantastic. We had very little leftover and I consider that a major success!Caroline helped with so much more than just the drink menu and made sure all of requests and concerns were accommodated. She made sure to address most things with our coordinator, and took initiate to bring things to our attention discreetly for things the coordinator couldn’t answer (to absolutely no fault of their own!). If you need a bartender, you NEED The Parched Poppies!

    Wedding Bartender The Parched Poppies

    If we could give 6 stars, we would! The Parched Poppies and Caroline/her team were everything we could have ever dreamed of when it came to bartending and cocktails for our wedding! They were the very first vendor we booked after we locked in our venue (and we found via Instagram!). Their wide-selection of cocktails on the menu made it extremely difficult to narrow it down to a His and Hers for the night--but we also knew no matter which one we moved forward with, it was going to be a good one (hands down, Poppy is still by far the best one I say!). Not only was communication top-tier through the entire wedding process, but Caroline was so helpful and insightful when it came to helping us make decisions. She cared more about us as individuals and provided insight that would be better for us/our day in the long run. We truly appreciate her candidness and expertise that she was winning to share. Day of: AMAZING. We cannot express in words how grateful we are for them! They were always there to give us, and all of our guests, the most amazing experience we could have asked for. Caroline even personally delivered us drinks to cap off our sunset hour shoot all the way down by the lake. Not only that, but they were all so happy, fun and willing to chat with anyone by the bar trailer! Would genuinely recommend The Parched Poppies for weddings, or any other social event. We'll have to try and make it to their Loft sometime in the future when we're in the area. :) I also left off from my Google review, but Caroline made the absolute cutest reel of our wedding that we love to rewatch! It was so sweet. Thank you so much once again!

    BEST cocktails ever

    The Parched Poppies designed my cocktails and menu for us and they were one of the best parts of the day. The cocktails were AMAZING. The menu was absolutely gorgeous too. I wanted something different than what had been trending and they created a beautiful leather draping menu. Our guests loved it!! The cocktails were so unique and tasty. The mixes were all fresh and the communication was great. We felt really taken care of from start to finish. Totally recommend them to every couple.

We are a "dry hire" bar which means that either you, your caterer, or your venue must provide the alcohol. We will work closely with you to put together the perfect drink menu and provide you with an alcohol shopping list based on the details of your event.
We are located in Camino, California, east of Sacramento but we are always willing to travel! Travel within 30 miles of Camino is included. Additional travel welcomed for a small fee.
We carry general liability insurance, as well as liquor liability insurance. We can provide copies of our insurance policies to your venue upon request. It is your responsibility to secure any permits needed, but typically, if your event is held on private property, you will not need to secure any permits.
Due to our advanced booking model, we cannot accommodate cancellations due to rain. We will work with you to find the best available option to provide cover for the bar in the event of inclement weather.
Our bar requires flat ground for set-up and service and clear access for set-up and break down. If the kegerator is rented, a power source will be required to keep the beer refrigerated.
50% of your invoice total and a signed contract is due at booking in order to secure your date on our calendar. We currently accept payments through our booking system Honeybook.
We are full service. We will provide you with our options available for rentals and work with you to find options within your budget.
For summer and fall weddings, we recommend at least 10 months in advance. We do take last-minute bookings, however, we are already booking out to 2025.
