    CHOOSE ARTISAN BUTTERCREAM FIRST

    Legit we tried like 4 different bakeries before we discovered Artisan Buttercream. Hands down 10/10 the best cake you will ever have! Karen is very talented in taste and style, she delivers your dream cake in every aspect. Save your money trying other bakers and start with Artisan Buttercream because it will not disappoint! We also did our 30th birthday cake with Karen after we discovered her bakery for our wedding and it was FANTASTIC! We will be lifelong customers for birthdays, anniversary, and special occasions because we know Artisan Buttercream will deliver the BEST! Thank you so much Karen!

    BEST CAKES IN TOWN

    Artisan Buttercream did my sister's wedding cakes and I must say, Not only were they picture perfect, but they were super delicious. Karen is so very professional with a personality of gold. I will never go anywhere else for cakes during events. I recommend you try her cakes. She deserves 10 STAR RATINGS.

    I had such a wonderful experience ordering my husband’s birthday cake! The cake came out absolutely beautiful, and you could really see the time, care, and attention to detail that went into every part of it. The decorations were done beautifully, and the cake tasted just as amazing as it looked! She was also incredibly sweet, kind, and a pleasure to work with. Everything exceeded my expectations, and my husband loved his cake. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a beautiful, delicious cake made with care. I’ll absolutely be ordering again! 🤍

Yes. Artisan Buttercream is licensed through the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development (MDARD) and operates from a licensed commercial kitchen facility. We follow all state food safety regulations and safe food handling practices to ensure every order is prepared with care and professionalism. Artisan Buttercream is an appointment-only cake studio specializing in custom wedding and celebration desserts throughout Metro Detroit.
Artisan Buttercream can accommodate certain nut allergies and allergy-conscious requests depending on the menu selections and design requirements. All products are prepared in a licensed shared commercial kitchen facility that also processes common allergens including nuts, dairy, wheat, soy, and eggs. While we follow safe food handling practices and take precautions to minimize cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely allergen-free and may not be suitable for individuals with severe allergies or sensitivities.
Wedding cake pricing does not automatically include a tasting consultation. Tastings are offered as a separate experience for couples who would like to sample flavors, discuss design inspiration, and review details for their wedding dessert vision. Artisan Buttercream offers private tasting and design consultations by appointment in our Royal Oak studio. Standard tastings include a curated selection of flavors presented as individual personal cakes, along with a one-on-one consultation to discuss design direction, guest count, servings, delivery logistics, and overall wedding aesthetic.
Wedding cake bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and popular dates can book several months in advance. Couples are encouraged to inquire as early as possible once a venue and wedding date have been secured. Most couples book between 6–12 months in advance, especially for larger weddings or highly detailed custom designs. Limited availability may be available for shorter timelines depending on the season and production schedule.
