Since 1997 Capital Confections has been a small, family-owned chocolate shop in Sacramento, creating handcrafted chocolates, small-batch gelato, and gourmet chocolate treats. Our goal is simple: to create memorable, flavorful desserts that keep customers coming back.

We genuinely love what we do, and we think you can taste the difference. We’re proud to use ethically sourced chocolate and locally sourced ingredients, while supporting the small businesses and makers in our community. We love working with couples to create wedding favors and desserts that feel personal and special to their day.     Working with Capital Confections was a great choice for our wedding day. From our first conversation, they listened carefully to what we wanted and answered all our questions without any pressure. They created a custom Chai truffle flavor just for my wife and me, which tasted incredible and felt so personal. The quality of their work was solid and the flavors were unique—nothing like the typical wedding desserts we'd seen before. Their pricing was fair for what we got, and they made the whole process easy and enjoyable.     Great Selection of Flavors

We are a nut and gluten-friendly facility which means we do not exclusively use nuts or gluten but our chocolate treats can come into contact with items that may contain either of those ingredients.
We offer custom flavors and designs.
Tastings cost $30 and will be credited back if you book with us.
