Diane’s Patisserie of West Berlin, NJ, is a special occasion bakery providing one of a kind birthday cakes, weddings cakes, bat/bar mitzvah cakes and much more. Diane has been fulfilling her passion of baking cakes since 1986 and prides herself on baking and creating the cake of your dreams. Each cake begins with a simple consultation. Diane takes the opportunity to consult with every client to create their once in a lifetime vision. No detail will be overlooked.

Diane Nussbaum has owned her shop since 1986 and has been training and baking since 1981. Many awards have been given to Diane’s La Pâtisserie under her leadership, including five “Best of Philly” awards for pastries and cakes. She was also given the honor of recreating Philadelphia’s Bourse Building from sugar for its 100th anniversary. Diane was one of only 20 pastry chefs asked to create a celebration cake for the 20th anniversary of the Craft Festival of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Gum paste flowers rolled fondant, and edible ribbons and lace have become a trademark of Diane’s as highlighted in Philadelphia Magazine’s “Elegant Weddings.”

    Loved the experience !

    Mrs. Diane was amazing to work with! From the cake tasting to her communication and the delivery of our wedding cake and breakfast items for our bridal party on the wedding day, everything was wonderful. We absolutely loved our cake—it was delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests! We would definitely recommend Mrs. Diane and hope to work with her again in the future!

    Best Part of Wedding Planning!

    Amazing experience from start to finish for our wedding cake! I am very lactose intolerant and was beyond thrilled to learn that the majority of Diane's cakes and fillings are naturally dairy-free. We had a great tasting in the office area of Diane's house that was very fun and personal. It was by far my favorite part of wedding planning! All of the cakes are moist and not overly dense or too sweet. Nothing else was needed on our end after we decided on everything at our tasting, and the cake was seamlessly delivered on our wedding day. We had 3 tiers each with a different cake flavor and filling, and they were all delicious! The cake was beautiful and our guests raved about the taste! Diane is so sweet and wonderful to work with.

    Best experience ever!

    Diane's Patisserie was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding cake and desserts. Their communication style through text and email was outstanding - they always answered quickly and made sure we got exactly what we needed. The quality of their work was truly outstanding and they made our lives so much easier throughout the process. We had the most delightful cake tasting experience at their house, where Diane really took the time to understand our vision and talk us through every detail. This was such an authentic and lovely experience, compared to other vendors who just sent home samples and left us to figure it out on our own. Go with Diane for your wedding cake - she made everything easy, and the final product was absolutely beautiful. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to work with Diane's Patisserie.

    Excellent!

    Diane's Patisserie was a preferred vendor with our wedding venue (Linwood Country Club). As part of our Linwood package, her cake was included, so we cannot comment as to the price. We were so thrilled with our cake and so were our guests! We were so excited that we had 4 tiers for 130 people and each tier could be a different cake/filling combo. We ended up selecting the largest and top tiers to be lemon pound cake/vanilla filling, 2nd largest to be chocolate chip cake/mocha filling, and the 3rd to be vanilla pound cake/vanilla filling. One of our criteria was ensuring that the cake would not be overpoweringly sweet (as most are) and we were so happy when Diane's cake met the mark. We wanted to keep the decorations simple, and she did a great job with that as well. Also, Diane was so easy to work with. Our tasting was done at her home in Cherry Hill, which was convenient for us. She presented us with 4-5 samples and was able to figure out our decorations with my (poor) descriptors. I checked in with her over the phone a couple times to make sure she had everything she needed with us and the venue, and each time, she remembered me and confirmed all the details. We will definitely reach out to Diane in the future!!

    Gluten and Dairy Free Cupcakes

    The cupcakes were good. we had a few left after the wedding and were still moist a few days later. 1 problem - i asked for no artificial color and my wedding cupcakes had rainbow sprinkles. luckily my guests were understanding and used to having to pick those off. i was embarrassed but my guests were OK.
