Welcome! My name is Hailey I'm a baker and cake designer. Sweet Thomas is a home-based bakery located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We specialize in custom cakes, cupcakes, and the occasional pie for weddings and any occasion!

We do our absolute best to cater to every couple we come across from beginning to end! I have clients I've followed from their engagement to their children's birthdays. I take absolute pride in my business and treating my clients like family.

Rusted decor and Cheap florals!
We sent a photo of exactly how we wanted our cake to look, and she assured us she could recreate it using silk florals for a realistic appearance. The cake was supposed to feature pearl accents and rose gold colors. Unfortunately, what we received looked more like a baby shower or first birthday cake and was nothing like the inspiration we provided. On top of the appearance, the cake had a terrible aftertaste. Several guests described it as tasting like dishwater or cigarettes. While she did issue a full refund, I feel it’s important to share our experience. Between the disappointing cake and the decor that was provided to us rusting, I believe others deserve to know what happened so they can make an informed decision.

Amazing Service and Taste!
From the moment we started planning our wedding, Sweet Thomas Bakery made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The owner was responsive to every question and incredibly kind throughout our conversations. When she learned our cake needed to stay in the freezer until the last minute, she didn't hesitate to offer to come wait after drop-off and set it up herself on the day of the wedding—that level of care really meant so much to us. The cakes were absolutely delicious and the buttercream was sweet and smooth. We got so many compliments. What impressed us most was how fantastic the quality was without breaking the bank—her pricing is honestly unbeatable for what you get. We couldn't have asked for a better dessert experience and would recommend Sweet Thomas Bakery to any couple looking for real value and genuine service.

Horrible DO NOT USE
Hailey did NOT SHOW UP with the groomscake. I was walking down the aisle and found out she did not bring the Grooms Cake. DO NOT USE HER, she never responded to a call, text, email nothing. Seriously this was the worst experience of my life she is a horrible person who didn't have the decency to call me back.
