My name is Lanae Workman, Owner and creative genius behind Paisley Cakes. I have had a passion for baking and dessert since I was a child, using my first Easy Bake Oven. I began decorating cakes as a hobby, and that hobby soon turned into a desire to run a business. I graduated from college with a Bachelor's degree in business management, an emphasis in marketing, and a minor in culinary arts. I was fully prepared for the next step, which was to open a shop, and share my talents and tasty cakes with you! That dream became a reality in August of 2013, when I, with the help of my husband Michael, opened our cake shop in Blackfoot.
With more than 20 years of experience, I am confident that we can create the perfect cake for you! From fondant to buttercream, no cake is too challenging! Paisley Cakes specializes in custom desserts, tailored to each unique client and their event! We have been voted #1 Cake shop in Idaho, and Best in Bingham County, Best of Eastern Idaho, and Best Bakery awards multiple times in the last 10 years in business! We take being the best best seriously, and would be proud to provide desserts for your wedding too!

Delicious AND beautiful wedding cake & desserts!!!
Our wedding cake and mini desserts were absolutely beautiful and delicious!!! Lanae was so wonderful helping us design our cake and everything was delivered to our wedding venue without a hitch. We enjoyed tasting kits to help try flavors since we live out of state and can’t wait to order more cakes to celebrate future anniversaries!

We could not have been happier with Paisley Cakes for our wedding day. From our first conversation, the team showed such care and attention to detail in every aspect of our order. The delivery and setup took all the stress out of our day, which was exactly what we needed. Our cake was gorgeous and simple, with flavors that were truly fantastic—everyone at the reception could not stop talking about it. What really stood out was how much heart the baker put into creating something so special for us, and the price was incredibly reasonable for the quality we received. Best cake lady ever
Absolutely Amazing Wedding Cake! We could not have been happier with our wedding cake from the Paisley Cake Lady! It was not only beautiful but also absolutely delicious—so soft and moist. Our guests devoured almost all three tiers. Highlights: • Tasting Process: Her "build your own adventure" tasting was fantastic. We loved getting to mix and match cake and filling flavors to find our perfect combinations. • Our Flavors: We chose carrot cake, vanilla with lemon filling, and marble with raspberry filling. All were incredible. • Beyond the Cake: She was so helpful and even gave us some wonderful vendor suggestions that made our day even better. • Value & Service: The pricing was very reasonable, and the delivery was flawless. We highly recommend the Paisley Cake Lady to any couple looking for the perfect wedding cake!

Perfect Cake!
My husband and I renewed our vows in Grand Teton National Park for our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We ordered the smallest size cake since it would just be the 2 of us. Lanae was absolutely fantastic through the entire process. We live in FL so we worked with her to get a cake tasting kit mailed to us. It was difficult to choose a flavor because they were all so good. Lanae also worked with us on the cake delivery so that we wouldn't stress about picking it up before our day. The final result was everything we wanted in a cake: gorgeous and delicious! We highly recommend getting your cake from Paisley Cakes!

Absolutely Stunning & Delicious Wedding Desserts
Paisley Cakes absolutely blew us away! Our wedding cake was not only delicious—with vanilla cake, strawberry filling, and white chocolate ganache—but also stunningly decorated with the outline of the Tetons. It was a true centerpiece and so meaningful to us. The red velvet groom’s cake with a UGA theme was a fun and flavorful hit, and the welcome dinner treats (brownie cups, mini lemon blueberry cupcakes, another mini cupcake flavor, and chocolate-covered strawberries) were a huge crowd-pleaser. Every detail was beautiful and the flavors were incredible. Paisley Cakes was a dream to work with—professional, creative, and so talented. We’re so grateful they were part of our special day. Highly recommend!
