Best Cake Ever

Sooo happy with our cake. Mide made us samples to taste, which was very difficult to choose from, they were all delicious. The cake was delicious and everyone at our wedding commented on how good it was. The Swiss Buttercream was amazing... Highly recommend her for any cake, but especially a wedding cake.

Absolutely Amazing Birthday Cake Experience! We ordered the Birthday Spark cake from The Sweet Layers Factory for my daughter’s and my shared birthday celebration, and it was absolutely wonderful! We were in a last-minute situation and called three other bakeries first. Unfortunately, they were all booked solid and couldn’t take any additional orders, and they didn’t have any ready-made cakes available that we could simply pick up. The Sweet Layers Factory came through for us! We placed our order at 9 AM and were able to pick up our cake at 5 PM the same day. The Birthday Spark cake allows you to choose from several flavors, and we chose the Chocolate Truffle Bliss. The cake itself was beautiful. It is a 6-inch cake that stands about 7.5 inches tall, but it has such a substantial, layered appearance that it feels much bigger than a typical 6-inch cake. The bakery lists it as serving 15, and I can definitely see why. It made a beautiful centerpiece for our celebration. The Chocolate Truffle Bliss flavor was incredible. The chocolate cake layers were rich and delicious, but the highlight was the layers of chocolate mousse with chocolate chips throughout. The mousse was smooth, decadent, and had an amazing texture from the little bursts of chocolate chips. It was a true chocolate lover’s cake without being overwhelming. The biggest surprise for me was the frosting. I am usually the person who scrapes off half the frosting because most cakes are simply too sweet. This frosting was completely different from a typical store-bought cake. It was light, creamy, flavorful, not overly sweet, and literally melted in your mouth. It complemented the cake instead of overpowering the chocolate. The packaging was also excellent. Because the cake was so substantial, I was initially concerned about transporting it home, but it was packaged and secured so well that there was absolutely no worry about it tipping over or being damaged during the drive. At $80, this is definitely a premium cake, but the quality, flavor, presentation, packaging, and especially the ability to order a specialty cake in the morning and have it ready the same afternoon made it worth it! The Sweet Layers Factory turned what was a stressful last-minute search into a very special part of our mother-daughter birthday celebration. We will ABSOLUTELY order from The Sweet Layers Factory again. Highly recommend the Birthday Spark with the Chocolate Truffle Bliss cake! 🎂💕
