We take client concerns seriously, which is why we personally reached out to discuss your concerns and apologized for the aspects of your experience that did not meet your expectations. We made every effort to address concerns brought to our attention during the event and again afterward. Javonni, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry that you feel disappointed with your experience, especially on such a such day in your life. At ACT catering and boards, food quality and safety is our highest priority. Every dish is prepared fresh for each event and before the food leaves our kitchen, we carefully verify and double check that all food has reached at the proper safe serving temperature. If any concerns about the undercooked food had been brought up to our attention we would have handled it accordingly. No such concerns were reported. In fact, that same night when we went to go clean up everything, you had said you really enjoyed it and everything was amazing and then all of the sudden the next day you text me and change your mind, which makes me doubt your opinion a little bit about everything. As discussed after you brought up your concerns, we had refined the cooking process following your tasting to improve consistency and execution for larger events. However the menu and the ingredients did not change. We understand that you would have prefer to be informed of those refinements and we appreciate the feedback. After receiving your request for a partial refund, we throughly reviewed your event including preparation, service and the concerns you raised. Based on that review, we respectfully determined a refund was not warranted While we understand your frustration and disappointment, we stand behind our quality of food and service we provided.
