From our first tasting with Emily's Catering Group, we knew we'd found our caterer. Cheryl was organized and friendly throughout the entire planning process, answering every question with warmth and care. Rick, the owner and head chef, is truly exceptional—his passion for food and hospitality shines through in every detail. The tasting itself felt personalized and curated just for us, and the wedding menu options were expansive with fresh ingredients that made every dish taste incredible. On our wedding day, the servers were friendly and attentive, and we felt like VIPs from start to finish. We can't thank Emily's Catering Group enough for making our celebration unforgettable.

High-end restaurant-quality food!!

Emily's Catering Group is the best! Rick is an incredible chef and visionary for a good party! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the BLT station, cocktail hour spread, and the dinner itself. Several guests commented on how nice it was so have salads served immediately upon sitting down. These little details are what set ECG apart. Everything went so smoothly - from our initial call with Rick, to our tasting with our parents, and all of the communications in between with Cheryl - Emily's Catering Group is so professional and thorough. We were able to focus on having fun and enjoying our guests - it was obvious that that they could handle any situations that came their way, even in an outdoor cook tent at a family home! Would give even more than 5 stars if we could!

Emily's Catering was an extraordinary part of our wedding day at South Farms in Morris, CT. Rick and his team handled everything wonderfully; They were organized, prompt, responsive, enthusiastic, creative, and VERY well-priced. Because we decided not to hire a planner, it was crucial that we retain vendors who could operate self-sufficiently, and Emily's truly went above and beyond in every respect. They even accommodated serving my husband's home-brew, including making wood signs for us as a surprise. My husband and I still talk about how much we loved and appreciated them, and we enthusiastically recommend them to anyone seeking the perfect caterer for their wedding.

We could not recommend Emily's Catering Group more! Our wedding was August 25, 2018 at South Farms in Morris, CT. People say the food at your wedding is one of the most important and memorial parts of your day and it's true! People are still raving about the food they had at our wedding till this day and the fantastic service by the ECG's team! From the very first point of contact Rick and his team were extremely attentive. Cheryl would answer our emails within 24 hours (which for a bride planning a wedding is SO impressive!) The tasting we had was intimate and Rick walked us through the process of what our guests experience would be like the day of our wedding. The passed hors d'oeuvres were never ending during cocktail hour-- our guests we're SO impressed and FULL of delicious tasting food they were wondering how they would be able to eat during dinner. Rick and his team brought my charcuterie table dreams come to life! There was specific staff members from the ECG's team that were in charge of basically following us around during our event to make sure we had all the food we ever wanted and a drink was always full in our hands. It was so refreshing to feel so well taken care of on our special day. We are so happy we chose Emily's Catering Group for our wedding day and we continue to use them to cater all of our events. They are the best of the best!

On the day itself at Smith Farm Gardens, the entire Emily’s team moved quietly and efficiently, kept the service flowing without ever interrupting the celebration, and handled every detail with professionalism and care. The food stayed consistent and excellent from start to finish, and the staff was attentive and friendly. What stood out most was how personal and reliable the whole experience felt. Rick and Cheryl made communication easy, stayed flexible when we needed adjustments, and left nothing to chance. We never once worried about the food or the service—and that peace of mind on a wedding day is invaluable. In fact, we had the best drink EVER and a member of Emily’s team even walked around the tent to pipe cannolis for guests in real time. It was such a fun surprise that everyone loved! If you’re looking for a catering team that delivers outstanding food, polished service, and genuine care, we cannot recommend Emily’s Catering—and especially Rick and Cheryl—enough. They helped make our wedding feel truly special, and we are so grateful we chose them. If only we could work with them everyday!
