PixelPop is a full-time photo booth services company. Our booths are available to be reserved every day of the year.

Question 2

How do I check if a booth is available for my date?

PixelPop does not double-book our photo booths...ever! If a booth is reserved for an event, it is removed from our inventory for the entire day. We would never put your booth at risk of being delayed or not being prepared because of an earlier event. Our Availability Calendar provided by Zola is a general guide to help you explore potential dates. It is not a live calendar and is updated manually. Please note that dates shown as available are not guaranteed until availability has been confirmed directly with us. We recommend reaching out to verify your wedding date before making any final plans.

Question 3

How far in advanced do I need to book?

Ideally, give us at least 3+ months notice so we can lock in your date and coordinate all the details. That said, we’ve squeezed in last-minute bookings before if our schedule allows. The earlier you book, the better! It gives us time to customize everything exactly how you want it, confirm logistics with your venue/planner, and make sure we show up ready to capture those moments. Don’t overthink it though...just reach out and we’ll figure it out.

Question 4

How much space is needed?

Our photo booth is compact but needs some breathing room. We typically require about 8' x 8' of open space (think a corner of your venue or a dedicated spot). The booth itself doesn’t take up a ton of room, but we want space around it so guests can move in, take their photos, and move out smoothly. If your venue is tight, let us know. We’ve worked in creative spaces before and might have solutions. Just give us your venue details and we’ll make sure it works.

What's included in your packages?

Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Every package includes a set amount of run-time guaranteed, a friendly and engaging attendant, instant prints for each session participant, optional delivery of digital copies to guests and online gallery access, choice of backdrop and a thoughtful selection of quality props. A custom print design collaborated between you and PixelPop, personalized interactive booth screens, and complete setup and teardown. Your guests jump in, put their phones down, and walk away with memories held in their hands. You do the celebrating. We handle the rest.

Are there extra fees (delivery, setup, overtime)?

What you see is what you pay! PixelPop is 100% transparent with pricing. Delivery, setup, and breakdown are always included in the listed package price. Any travel fees are clearly communicated and detailed on the invoice before accepting a proposal. Extended booth time is always communicated and paid on-site with the attendant. If we stay an extra 30 minutes without instructions from you or your point of contact- that's on us! You will never get a 'final balance due' invoice after the event. Anything extra (booth enhancements, backdrop upgrades) are listed on your proposal before you sign, so there are zero money surprises...EVER!

Question 7

What happens to the photos? Do guests get prints and/or digital copies?

Each participant in a session will get an instant prints on the spot, plus the option to get digital copies via text/email so they can relive the night later. Prints go in their hands before they walk away. Your guests keep the moment, and you get to keep the full gallery- prints, full-sized images and an animated gif of each session.

Are props included? Can I customize them?

All PixelPop Photo Booth experiences come stocked with a large variety of props, from sparkly hats and fun glasses to sturdy signs and theme-aligned objects. If you pay close enough attention, the props get rotated out as time passes. The props are BTA approved at the start and who knows what will be on the table as the party evolves. Props are available at the attendant's discretion to match the vibe of the crowd. Want something specific to your event? Let us know and we’ll work it in when possible. We have multiple prop enhancements you can add-on. Props give guests a reason to laugh, and laughing together is how the best memories start.

Can I customize the backdrop or add our monogram?

Absolutely! We can order a custom backdrop with your design or names. Or add a neon sign to the frame. Branding options vary, so reach out with your ideas and we’ll tell you what’s possible. Your brand shows up in the photos, and your guests get to be part of the story.

How many people can use the booth during my event?

Accepted Answer

Guests can jump in as a group, in pairs, or solo, so there’s no waiting in line for long. Our booth sessions average about 2.5 minutes from start to print-in-hand end. Providing a great experience without long waits or congested lines gives everyone a reason to get in there together and make the most of these moments that matter.

Will someone be there to run it or is it self-service?

A knowledgeable, equipment-savvy professional attendant is always included with the PixelPop experience! Our attendants are friendly, personal prop stylists, that engage with your guests and keep the energy at peak the entire time. The entire process is fun and quick. Guests usually come back for more and you’re out there enjoying the party. (and the booth of course!)

What’s the photo quality like?

PixelPop's photo booths capture DSLR-quality 24.1 MP images and are printed with an industry leading dye-sublimation thermal transfer high-speed printer. Whaaaaa??? Sorry, geeked out on you there. That just means we have professional level quality equipment that delivers superior quality. (No iPad booths here!) Our photos look great framed, resized, digitally shared, or tucked into a keepsake box. It is common to hear "oohs & aahs" and excited squealing coming from the booth area when guests see their pic preview after each snap. But photo quality isn’t why people remember us. It’s the memories made together in the booth they never forget.

What customization options are available?

It's your day- make the booth totally yours! PixelPop's print designs and interactive booth screens are always personalized for you and your event. You choose from our large inventory of backdrops and we curate our prop selection to match your color palette, event theme, vibe, and personality. Optional booth enhancements include custom backdrops, props, and signage. A couple fav is our gorgeous cover to cover individually designed scrapbooks/guestbooks. We know all the right questions to ask to keep the spotlight right where it belongs. The more it feels like a celebration of you, the easier it is for guests to get swept up in the fun!

Do you offer GIF format, or social media features?

Yes! Guests receive their digital copies in gif format and have the option to share to social media right from the booth- no login required! The private event gallery is also available to guests at your discretion. Our upgraded event gallery gives you and your guests the ability to download, print, share, or instantly upload to their socials, as well as favorite their best pics. Your guests get to relive the laughs, and you get a way to share the night with everyone who couldn’t be there.

What if the venue can’t fit the booth?

Oh, ye of little faith.... challenge accepted! We have yet to find ourselves in a situation where we couldn't find an effective solution. We've set up in closets with crowds of 1500+ people (no, not a wedding!)...do not let this be a cause for concern. Send us your venue details and we’ll check the layout and coordinate with your planner/venue contact before your event. If space is tight, we can talk through options like an alternate placement area or a smaller setup. Don’t let a tight corner stop the fun. We promise we will find the perfect spot where your guests can jump in and be present.

Do you provide lighting? What about outdoor events?

PixelPop delivers great photos, day or night. Our photo booths come with studio grade, built-in lighting so photos look great indoors, in low light, or with strobing neon lights coming from the dance floor. Outdoor events work too, but depending on the time/season/weather/power access it takes a bit more strategic planning. But, we are experts! We make sure to ask all the right questions in the beginning to ensure the booth has all it needs to run efficiently and become an ideal experience.

How long does setup and breakdown take?

We are in and out, no fuss! We allow a 1.5 hour window for setup to ensure the booth looks beautiful and a complete software test, print, digital delivery, and gallery upload is successful. Breakdown takes about 30mins or less to be completely out of sight. We coordinate arrival times with your planner or venue so the booth is ready to rock at the designated start time. Early set up is available if the location will interfere with guests arriving or be disruptive of the ceremony. We handle the logistics so you can focus on the celebration, not the cords.

What if something goes wrong during the event?

We’ve got your back- things happen, but we plan for them! Our team is always ready to support you. If something goes wrong, your PixelPop booth attendant is on-site and available to correct any issue. If that isn't working, call or text us right away and we’ll jump in remotely or have our equipment technician arrive to fix it. Most hiccups are discovered by the attendant and corrected before anyone is aware of an issue. PixelPop guarantees the booth to be operational 95% of the agreed rental time. Should the booth be down for longer, that amount of time will be added on to the original end time automatically.
