I have specialized in personalizing wedding dances for 45 years and teaching dance for 70 years. Planning a wedding is often time-consuming and stressful ... I want you to take time for yourself and have fun learning your spotlight dance with your fiancé or parents!

You can learn a complete dance with turns and dips for $85 per couple for one full hour of private dance lessons. Most couples take 3 one-hour lessons for a completed dance. No contracts and striving for success in just three lessons is what makes me a little different from other studios. Pay as you take each lesson!

    Bud is the best in the business!

    We were so lucky to find Bud for our dance lessons. With over 80 years of experience he is truly an expert. He made the experience both fun and educational!

    Hi Cameron and Grace, Well I hate to correct you but I have been teaching 70 years not 80 years. Wedding couples for 50 years. I guess when you have been teaching as long as I have 10 years does not make a whole lot of difference. I do enjoy learning little things from my students. Learning new things is a good thing for a teacher. One thing I did learn .. to appreciate great students like you and watch the progress you made and was able to help make Your First Dance a success. Congratulations on a job well done.

    Bud is the absolute best. He taught my parents for their wedding dance 35 years ago and now I had the honor of receiving the Bud Walters experience. So special and memorable. His background is impressive and his expertise really shows with the moves he creates and care he puts into every couple. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to feel more confident and have fun while dancing

    Bud is The Best & Now a Friend

    We can’t recommend Bud enough! My fiancé and I started dance lessons for our wedding with absolutely no dance experience, and Bud made us feel comfortable from day one. His experience, knowledge, and passion for dance are obvious, but what really stands out is how much he genuinely cares about his students.     It was an honor to work with you, Bud!

    Bud is the absolute best! He is incredibly passionate about his work and is intentional in how he navigates teaching beginners, such as ourselves. He was able to explain dance steps in an individualized way, which was super helpful! It was an amazing experience to be in his studio and learn key steps to ensure a beautiful first dance together. Bud was patient with us and helped us grow in our confidence over a few weeks of lessons. Bud truly has a gift and we feel so grateful to have met him. We will miss our lessons together!

    Didn't we have fun getting to know one another? You both communicated your dancing needs very well and accomplished your dance task. Realistically, three 1-hour private lessons. However, you can book as many or as few as you'd like.
On the Northside of Cincinnati, by Springgrove cemetery.
Yes! Typically a parent dance only needs two 1-hour lessons.
The default lesson is private, but I can do a maximum of 3 couples at a time if you have couples you'd like to share with. 1 couple is $85/hour, 2 couples is $130/hour, 3 couples is $180/hour.
I teach from 11am-9pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for $85/hour. All other days are $105/hour.
