Wedding Florals
When my daughter and I first met with Alison, owner of Elizabeth Joy flower shoppe, she seemed very attentive, and like she would do a great job designing the florals for my daughter‘s wedding. However, after that, she seemed to forget a lot of our requests and we didn’t have a lot of them. We had asked for flowers on both sides of an arch as well as on the top, some floral rings to go around candles on the tables, some floral risers with greenery and flowers at the bottom, burnt orange petals for the flower girls, and florals around our lanterns at the ceremony site and a few other items such as a welcome floral arrangement and some to go out back of the event venue. When we got our quote several things were missing. I had a discussion with her and most things seemed to be corrected or accounted for leading up to the wedding day. However, I was very disappointed in the day of flowers for the wedding. A lot of the blooms were wilted. The corsages seemed days old and the boutonnieres were not wrapped in ribbon like the inspiration picture we provided. The florals were sparse, and the overall colors seemed to pop of red versus the burnt orange, blush, and cream that we had requested as primary. I do not recommend this floral shop. Especially not for one of the most important events of your life.
