In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

We make DIY doable, plain and simple. Flower Moxie gives you all the tools you need to create showstopping wedding florals! Here is how it works: Step one, you peruse our Moodboard Collections, get inspired, and buy the perfect blooms. Then you get access to exclusive, full length DIY tutorials! Step two, you recruit your floral A-team. Stock up on wine and get ready to faint as you unbox floral nirvana. Your flowers arrive 3 days in advance. Day 1, you prep. Days 2-3, you design. Day 4, YOU GET MARRIED. Step 3: Brag Your Face Off! Float down the aisle knowing your guests are totally eye-oogling YOUR hard work.

Beautiful!
I ordered the diy ceremony box as well as a mixed greens box, and all of it arrived in great condition. I did have one flower get replaced unplanned, but following their process and reaching out to their customer service was very easy and they issued a refund right away. Their customer service was very kind and responsive! The flowers arrived packaged nicely, and bloomed really well following the instructions given. I was nervous getting all of our flowers sent by mail, but this was so easy and turned out great!

A Wedding Miracle!
In the days leading to my wedding, I received a text from my Flower Moxie associate stating I would have to substitute my #1 wedding flower with another option. Though the substitution was beautiful, it wasn’t the flower I had been thinking about and wanted as my “funky, interesting” focal point and I accepted my fate. When my flowers arrived (in amazing condition, might I add), to my surprise there was MY #1 wedding flower! Lots of happy tears were shed. Everyone asked me, “what is that flower?!”. LINA, YOU SAVED THE DAY!

Fantastic all the way through!
Floral selection in general is phenomenal. All the resources you could possibly ask for in terms of prep and arranging. And great prompt customer service! Our flowers showed up in great condition no issues (one delayed package arrived early the next day in great shape) and the flower moxie team was there to answer any questions if we needed! We used a mix of their flowers (about 30% of our total stems) with local and self-grown for centerpieces and bud vases, and my entire bridal bouquet was made up of David Austin roses from them. If you are up for the DIY challenge flower moxie is the way to go!

Easy to manage DIY
Working with Flower Moxie was such a great experience. The team made us feel comfortable even though we'd never done DIY wedding flowers before, answering all our questions and giving us clear instructions every step of the way. We were worried it would be stressful, but honestly it turned out to be much easier than we expected. We had plenty of flowers for our wedding using the Hybrid DIY medium size package.
