About Helianthus and Lace
Amanda Suda
Helianthus and Lace is a wedding and event floral design business serving the deeply in love. Helianthus is the Latin term for sunflower and comes from the root Helio and Greek Helios, meaning Sun. As sunflowers are growing and beginning to bloom, they turn their heads towards the sun. I find this to be a great analogy for life - always look on the bright side. Flowers have been a part of my life since 2014, and I have been flowering weddings since 2018. I'm so glad you are here!
In my personal life and business, I am always working towards being more sustainable and Earth-friendly. I will work closely with local farms during the growing season to source local blooms and reduce the amount of emissions it takes to get your flowers into your hands.

Amanda was amazing!
We hired Helianthus and Lace for our wedding flowers and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Amanda was responsive and professional from our first conversation through the big day itself. She took time to get to know us and understand our vision, which made all the difference in how our flowers turned out. When rain hit on our wedding day, Amanda stayed calm and adapted everything on the fly to keep our setup looking gorgeous. Her work was stunning, and she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect for us. We'd recommend her to any couple looking for a florist who truly cares about how their wedding appears!

I can’t say enough good things about working with Helianthus and Lace! Amanda was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive throughout the entire planning process. When we first started, we didn’t have a clear vision of what we wanted, but Amanda took the time to walk us through different possibilities and was so understanding when we changed our minds—and even our entire color scheme! Her guidance and attention to detail made the planning process feel completely stress-free. When our wedding day finally arrived, the flowers were absolutely incredible! Amanda sourced such a beautiful and unique variety of flowers and arranged everything so thoughtfully. She also created a stunning floral installation at the top of our pergola, which she later repurposed for our reception. If you’re considering working with Helianthus and Lace, do it! You won’t regret it. We are so grateful for Amanda and everything she did to make our wedding day so beautiful!

An AMAZING florist!!
Wow I honestly don't even know where to start with this... I have nothing but good things to say about Helianthus and Lace. I absolutely loved working with Amanda!! Even from my initial inquire to work with her, she was quick to get back to me. Throughout the planning process she was flexible with meeting times, easy to get in contact with, and such a joy to talk to! Whenever I shot her an email with a new question or idea it was never long before she got back to me and she was always open to seeing what we could make work with my ideas. On the day of, her and her team showed up and seamlessly got set up for the day, working alongside our other vendors without any issues. I love flowers, so my bouquet was something that I was so excited to see on our wedding day. Amanda captured the vision perfectly. I was blown away by what an amazing job she did (literally brought to tears when she delivered it that morning). Not just with my bouquet but with all the other florals as well. From the ceremony area to the reception everything was so cohesive and matched exactly what we had spoke about. She was such a vital part of our big day and truly cared about making it special for us. You can easily see how much she loves her work by the quality that she delivers, the care she shows her clients, and by the joy on her face as she does it all! I would recommend her again and again to anyone looking for floral needs!

Dream Florist in PA area!!!
If you're getting married in the PA area, I couldn't recommend Helianthus and Lace more. Amanda, the owner, is hands down the kindest, most accommodating vendor we worked with for our wedding. From the moment we initially met I felt at ease and confident about booking her. Not only did she accommodate our budget (on the lower end for a 2026 wedding), she went above and beyond to ensure our vision came to life. She even met with me at our venue months before the wedding to walk through the space so we could visualize the details together. And every time I had a change of heart or a different idea, she was happy to jump on a meeting to discuss. Then, the day of our wedding it rained, and while we were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony with a floral arch and candles throughout, she quickly pivoted to the most beautiful indoor ceremony installation. The details of the installation, my bouquet, the table centerpieces, and even the flowers she chose for our detail photos were beyond perfect and better than I could've dreamed. Amanda IS a dream and is worth every penny and more!!

Amanda was absolutely incredible to work with and brought our wedding flowers to life in a way that completely exceeded my expectations. I gave her, what I thought was a pretty complicated request, without really being able to provide photos or even a clear vision of exactly what I wanted, and she completely nailed it. Every single flower that was included in the floral arrangements were beautiful and I will dream about my bouquet forever. She took the bits of inspiration and ideas I shared and turned them into something so beautiful, thoughtful, and perfectly fitting for our day. It honestly felt like she understood what I wanted better than I did. Every arrangement was stunning, and everything came together so seamlessly.
