April is such a gem! Not only does she make her clients look so gorgeous, her kind spirit makes them feel flawless & emotionally ready for the camera!

April made me feel so calm and comfortable from the moment I met her. Since I wasn’t able to do a trial before my wedding, she thoughtfully walked me through her plan that morning before we began, incorporating my inspiration pictures along with a few changes I wanted. She took the time to explain how those changes would affect the overall look, which made me feel confident trusting her throughout the process. My glam turned out absolutely perfect and held up all day! I’ve never felt more beautiful, and I would recommend April again and again!

April did my hair & makeup for my wedding and welcome party, and her team did my family & bridesmaids’ glam. I originally chose her not just because of her beautiful work portfolio, but because a friend mentioned that at a wedding she attended, April felt like more than an artist, but instead a grounding, peaceful energy. She described April as going above and beyond the scope of her role. I had high expectations and April simply blew them out of the water. I rarely love my hair & makeup when professionally done and I’ve literally never felt more beautiful. She brought the best energy the entire day and truly felt like a friend. When I got panicked close to the ceremony, she was everywhere — fixing my flyaways, steaming out wrinkles, and even helping zip my dress when no one could figure it out. Every time I saw her face I immediately felt a sense of calm. Her entire team was also incredible. You spend a LOT of time with your glam team on your special day. I’m so happy with my choice.

April took great care in learning about my personal style, wedding vision, and preferences during our hair/makeup trial several months before the wedding at her sun-filled studio. She was patient and gracious as I worked through what I wanted in real time, and we made adjustments in a very collaborative way. April was also flexible when we decided to add on my mom to the services. For the big weekend, April completed my Rehearsal and Wedding looks flawlessly, making me feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful. Her presence in my suite while I got ready was calming and fun, and her years of experience came through clearly in her artistry, precision, prompt timing, and thorough execution. Choosing April was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. From the very beginning, everything felt clear, professional, and stress free. Pricing was fully transparent (trial, day-of, early start, wedding party), and her email communication leading up to the wedding was incredibly helpful including timelines, prep tips, and extension recommendations. I always knew exactly what to expect. The trial was 100% worth it. It allowed us to get a feel for each other, and I even used the glam look for pre-wedding photos which was a great bonus. It helped me see how everything photographed and how it felt on my face throughout the day, which gave me so much confidence going into the wedding. On the wedding day, we had an extremely early start (4:30 AM!), and April and her team arrived energized, prepared, and ready to go. I ended up shifting my color palette and changing the front face-framing of my hair, and April was completely adaptable. The result was perfect. I felt beautiful but more importantly, I felt like myself. If you want a makeup artist who is organized, talented, flexible, and truly cares about making you feel confident and seen, April is it.
