Hello, and welcome to my official Zola page! I'm Laurie, a Pennsylvania-licensed cosmetologist and on-site wedding hair and makeup artist. With 11 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist and 7 years specializing full-time in on-site weddings, I'm passionate about helping couples and their wedding parties look and feel their best. My goal is to create a calm, enjoyable getting-ready experience where every client feels confident, beautiful, and camera-ready for one of the most memorable days of their lives!

Amazing experience with Beauty by Laurie Ann
We had an amazing experience with Beauty by Laurie Ann for our wedding hair and makeup! Laurie Ann was incredibly professional and made sure we were completely happy with our looks throughout the entire process. During our trials, she took the time to listen to what we wanted and even redid several things in my hair to make sure I loved it before the big day. On our wedding day, everything ran smoothly and on time. Laurie Ann made sure there were enough additional staff members to complete hair and makeup for our entire bridal party of 12 within the time we had allotted. All of the additional stylists were wonderful, and everyone was very happy with their services. We especially appreciated how attentive Laurie Ann was to both brides throughout the day. She made sure our hair and makeup were a priority and that we were both happy with how everything looked. She was also incredibly LGBTQ-friendly and made us feel completely comfortable and supported throughout the entire experience. We would highly recommend Beauty by Laurie Ann to any couple looking for professional, talented, and inclusive hair and makeup services for their wedding!

Natural Bridal Glow: An Autumn Woodland Elopement
Laurie was an absolute dream to work with for my elopement in the Poconos! She created the most beautiful, natural bridal hair and makeup that made me feel confident, radiant, and truly myself. From the very start, her communication and professionalism were phenomenal — she was warm, genuine, and instantly put me at ease. Laurie went above and beyond, traveling to my Airbnb and taking the time to ensure every need was met. Even without having a trial beforehand, she exceeded every expectation, thoughtfully considering my requests while adding her own unique touch. It can be nerve-wracking to go into a bridal look without a trial, but I gave her my full trust — and she created a breathtaking, glowy look that made me feel like a goddess. I also gave her the freedom to create a vision based on her experience and creative instincts, and she delivered something more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She thoughtfully incorporated dried florals into my hairstyle for a romantic, one-of-a-kind touch and even recommended a local florist who prepared a custom assortment, which she conveniently brought with her from her studio. Laurie also went out of her way to help my husband with his hair using her own products that he had accidentally left behind at home — a small gesture that meant so much, making him look and feel even more handsome. Since we eloped just the two of us in an intimate elopement ceremony, I didn’t have the experience of a bridal party. Laurie instantly made me feel like I had someone to connect with through warm conversation and laughter while getting ready on my special day. Her talent, creativity, and calming energy made the morning so enjoyable and completely stress-free. She was personable, kind, and such a joy to be around. My husband was moved to tears of joy when he saw me — he couldn’t stop smiling at how stunning the final result was. He still looks back at the getting-ready photos she kindly captured for us before our photographer arrived, captivated in remembrance of the day. We both had an incredible experience with Laurie and are endlessly grateful for her artistry and kindness. Laurie was truly exceptional — a genuine professional with an incredible eye for detail and beauty. I can’t recommend her enough to any bride looking for someone who will make you feel both stunning and completely at ease on your special day.

Laurie was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day. Her communication was effective, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Beautiful and natural
Beauty By LaurieAnn was the perfect choice for my wedding day beauty needs. Laurie created a beautiful, natural look for my bridal makeup that was not at all overdone. She listened closely to my preferences and used high-quality products that lasted all night long. I had my makeup for my engagement photos done elsewhere and felt very “not me”. Laurie listened and made my makeup look like the best version of me that I could be. My sister was also thrilled with her hair and make up. Her professionalism and warm, calming presence helped keep me relaxed and confident on my big day. I would highly recommend Beauty By LaurieAnn to any couple looking for stunning, natural results.
