Love Wins

Price$425

Description

Do both you and your future spouse want full makeup and/or hair services? Our Love Wins package includes makeup OR hair for two on their wedding day, onsite at the same location (e.g., the same hotel room). Previews are additional. For both hair and makeup, please choose two packages. For partners who want grooming and not a full makeup look, please add our grooming services!

Most daily makeup needs to hang in there from about 8 am to 5 pm. And that’s without smiling constantly, smooching your partner, and don't forget photos! You dropped a pretty penny on your photographer, so you want to make sure you’re happy with your photos when you get them back. Professional makeup is made for the long haul and most importantly, it will look natural both in person and on camera.
If you want pro results, you have to have a pro kit! While each makeup artist's kit is a little different, you'll see everything from brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Ben Nye, Pat McGrath, MAC Cosmetics, Laura Mercier, Nars, Temptu, RCMA, Dior, Makeup For Ever and more. You might also see a few drugstore brands -- sometimes, you have to go with what works.
Sure! But consider this: first and foremost-- big salons – no matter how early you book your appointment – are notorious for running behind. You can't hang with your bridesmaids, and the makeup at most salons is made for daily wear -- not for photos. Plus, most big salons don't have makeup artists on staff. Let us come to you, so you can relax and enjoy your day.

    Early Signs

I was excited to use BrideFace because of the raving reviews I had seen. But I should’ve seen the signs early and just cut my losses. Throughout the booking process communication was just ok. There were quite a few times where I felt ignored by my questions regarding services and payments. Then when I would bring up problems or questions regarding payments or information I was told I was wrong over and over until finally after persisting they finally revised what I was trying to say and corrected it for me thankfully. My trials were ok. My makeup (the lashes and such) was coming off within 2 hours. Which I documented and informed my makeup artist Kendra of the day of the wedding. Hair trials were great I loved them. Wedding week comes and I still had no idea when or what time they were coming. I tried to figure out and they had my time to be ready by as my ceremony time (probably my fault completely) so I told them the corrected time and asked for a timeline where I was met with what felt like annoyance and that I bothered them and then actually still never received one. Then I had inquired about adding services which I ended up not doing but was told after I confirmed if I wanted more attendants I would receive information for timeline and arrival to venue for services. I never did. And then the day before my wedding I still didn’t know what time they were arriving. So I texted the artists at 8:45 pm to find out. (Upon writing this I actually did find an email from late in the day, the day before the wedding which I never saw but still did take them multiple days to reply which happened often.) Day of the wedding the makeup artist arrives and then exchanged rude remarks to my venue owner which really upset her. During services I thought everything was ok until it was my turn and she made a comment about the venue owner again to me when I was discussing something with my bridesmaid. I had asked for my eyelashes to be fixed (probably 7) because they were not laying down and she told me I had asked a lot of times and there was nothing she could do. Then it was time for her to do my last attendant and she countered me and told me I had more than the limit I was supposed to for one and she went around the room counting out loud to try and show me I was wrong. For hair she was kind to everyone and talked to us all. Which can’t be said about makeup. Unfortunately my hair ended up a mess too. I have thick hair but when styled I have never had a problem with my hair staying. I warned the stylist of this as rain was predicted and was reassured but ultimately my hair had become a mess and my MOH had to completely redo all pieces of my hair before the ceremony after only having my hair done for 1.5 prior. Again I acknowledge I could’ve came across as rude at some point however this experience was not fun especially for the price I paid for everything.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry the day didn’t feel the way you deserved. We also should have included the makeup touch-up kit listed in your contract and didn't. I apologize for the oversight. As far as your other points, I'd like to provide a bit of context: we request all brides confirm their ready-by time a month out. I provided you with a timeline on July 10th, based on your initial ready-by time, which is when you notified me of a two and a half hours change, eight days before your wedding. Before I could send an adjusted timeline, you asked to increase your makeup count, which because of your new timeline, would have required bringing in a second artist and an added charge, which you declined. Once you declined on July 16th, we sent a confirmation email as soon as we reasonably could, which was the next day, Friday, the day before your wedding, which according to my system you read within a couple of minutes of me sending it. Regarding your makeup and makeup artist, despite otherwise frequent communication, no concern about lashes or the makeup preview was raised with us before the wedding day. If we are made aware of concerns, we are happy to make them right, but we can't fix what we don't know about. We also understand there was a tense moment between your makeup artist and your venue owner on-site regarding a miscommunication about parking location as well, which our artist didn’t initiate. As far as your hair, at your preview, your stylist advised against a half up, half down style given the your outdoor ceremony in an open field in July, due to both humidity and your comfort. She also suggested extensions at the preview to help with hold. Both recommendations were declined, which of course is your choice to make. And as with any outdoor event, we’re never able to guarantee hair will hold in rain or humidity, no matter the preparation. Additionally, you brought in a second hair stylist without notifying us, as is required in our contract. We are not responsible for the results of any changes that may have been made to your hair after our team departs. We keep documentation, including photos and video, from all of our weddings, and we're happy to discuss further offline if helpful. We really do take feedback seriously and have shared this with our team. Wishing you all the best in your marriage. -- Julie

    Absolutely recommend, no notes!!

I absolutely adored working with BrideFace. Jane and Alyson truly knocked it out of the park, and my mom said it was the best HMU experience she’s ever had. Everyone looked gorgeous and was so thrilled with their look. I couldn’t recommend them more.

Calm, Fun, and Flawless from Start to Finish

I cannot say enough amazing things about BrideFace. I was lucky enough to have Jasmine for makeup and Natalie for hair and they were everything I could have hoped for and more. My trial was wonderful and they truly listened and took the time to adjust anything I wanted until it felt perfect. On the wedding day, they brought the best calm, fun, and super positive energy, which made my otherwise chaotic morning feel peaceful and actually enjoyable. They were on time, incredibly kind to my family and friends, and made everyone feel so special and taken care of. They are truly professional, responsive, and went above and beyond to make the day feel extra special - even without knowing I am in the wedding industry myself. I would recommend them to any of my clients without hesitation!

    Naturally curly bridal hair

We had such a smooth experience working with BRIDEface from start to finish. Their team was easy to talk to and made the whole process feel relaxed, even with all the wedding planning stress. They really understood my naturally curly hair and knew exactly how to make it look its best on my big day. The makeup held up perfectly throughout the ceremony and reception, and they even finished ahead of schedule so we had extra time to breathe before walking down the aisle. The quality of their work was outstanding and felt like great value for what we paid. I would definitely recommend BRIDEface to any couple looking for beauty professionals who are both talented and genuinely fun to work with.

    Amazing/ Talented

BRIDEface was amazing to work with for my wedding day beauty needs. Their communication was fast, understanding, and they were on top of everything. The quality of their work was simply elegant, beautiful, and stunning. They made me and all my bridesmaids, mother of the groom, and mother of the bride feel absolutely beautiful. They understood all of our unique needs and no one left unhappy. It was an easy and great experience overall. I had some concerns about my hyperpigmentation, and Julie set me up with their specialist Jane who made my skin look flawless. The whole process was amazing and I highly recommend using BRIDEface for your wedding day beauty services.
