I’m Taran, the stylist behind Buckle Up Beauty. I’ve been doing hair for nearly 20 years, and some of my favorite work has always been helping women feel beautiful, confident, and completely themselves for the moments that matter most. Buckle Up Beauty was created to bring that experience on location, with a little more personality, a little less pressure, and a whole lot of care. I love everything from soft romantic styles and polished waves to vintage-inspired looks, textured updos, and hair that feels effortless and just a little bit wild.

Experience is a big part of what sets me apart. After nearly two decades behind the chair, I understand that beautiful wedding hair is about much more than recreating an inspiration photo. I pay attention to your hair type, face shape, dress, weather, venue, timeline, and most importantly, how you want to feel. I bring a calm, fun energy to the wedding morning, travel to you, and create styles designed to photograph beautifully, hold up through the celebration, and still feel like you. Yes! Clean, completely dry hair is best. Washing the night before is usually perfect. Please avoid heavy oils, masks, or leave-in products so your hair has enough texture to hold your style.
A trial is highly recommended, especially if you’re unsure about your style or want to test different looks. It gives us time to fine-tune everything so wedding morning feels easy and stress-free.
Yes! Buckle Up Beauty is an on-location service, so I come to you. I travel throughout San Marcos, Austin, Dripping Springs, Wimberley, New Braunfels, and the Texas Hill Country. Travel fees may apply depending on location.
Absolutely. Extensions are great for adding volume, length, or fullness. If you’re using clip-ins, please have them clean, dry, and detangled. If possible, bring them to your trial so we can plan the final look.

    Taran was amazing!

    I booked Buckle Up Beauty and Taran made the whole experience so smooth. She responded to all our questions quickly and was genuinely kind throughout the process. What stood out most was how honest she was about what would work best with my outfit and the pace we took with my cut. Taran removed just small amounts at a time, making sure I felt comfortable and confident the whole way through.     Love my wedding hair

    Buckle Up Beauty made getting ready for our wedding feel stress-free, and that meant everything to us. Taran showed up on time and was so easy to work with from start to finish. What really impressed me was that she understood my vision right away, I only had to show her a couple of photos and my dress before she created exactly what I had imagined for my hair. She took the pressure off me on a day when I needed to feel calm, and her thoughtful approach made the whole experience relaxing. The quality of her work was worth every penny, and having someone so responsive and fair to work with made planning that part of our wedding simple.     Taran is amazing! She did my hair for a couple events. All I asked was that she put it up cute and I loved it both times right away! She has such a good style and I trust her advice when it comes to hair. She also gave me a quick haircut and took her time to make sure I liked the length. We would take some off and then she would ask me how I feel. She is a very at your own pace hairdresser and will not rush you in any sort of way.
