DO NOT USE HER
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the overall experience and professionalism. She would not only be late but also very out of sorts and chaotic. She was late to every appointment we had scheduled leading up to the wedding, and on the wedding day itself she arrived late, which put the timeline behind by over an hour before starting on the first person. Because each person then took much longer than expected, I had to rearrange the schedule to make sure I was finished on time. Thankfully we adjusted things when we did, because not everyone on her schedule was completed. My mom ultimately had to do her own makeup. What was especially disappointing was that there was never an apology for either the lateness or the scheduling issues. When I came outside to greet her and show her the easiest way to the setup area, I also felt the interaction was dismissive and unprofessional. Additionally, I was told that comments were made to my sister regarding her fair skin tone, and I was informed there was confusion about who the bride was that day. I was also informed she was taking numerous breaks on each person to vape throughout the morning, which contributed to delays and added stress. The overall experience was stressful and did not meet the level of professionalism I expected, especially for a wedding day. Because my mom’s makeup was never completed, I texted her asking for some money back and she never even responded. Apparently she has no showed many brides since then. Save yourself the stress and never use her!!!

DO NOT BOOK FOXY GLAMOUR
I really wish I had seen more of the recent reviews before booking Foxy Glamour. This has been an incredibly stressful experience, both financially and emotionally, especially considering this was for my wedding. To start, it was apparent that she did not know what time our appointment was. She called me beforehand to tell me she was going to be late because her tires had been stolen, and the conversation made me realize she seemed to have the wrong appointment time altogether. When she arrived, approximately the first 10 minutes of my appointment were spent looking at and picking out replacement tires and rims, which felt extremely strange and unprofessional during a scheduled bridal trial. There was also an issue with the hairstylist. I had confirmed THREE separate times prior to the appointment that hair was scheduled, yet the hairstylist had not been properly coordinated. I was then told that hair wasn’t scheduled, despite my having repeatedly confirmed it beforehand. When bringing this up with her she tried to lie saying it was never booked and it felt like she was trying to gaslight me. I had to look through our messages in my car to make sure I was right (which I was). Throughout the trial, she also seemed extremely scattered and disoriented. It was noticeable enough that I genuinely became concerned that something was wrong with her. Between that, the scheduling confusion, the hair issue, and everything else, I left my trial feeling extremely uneasy about trusting the business with my wedding day. Once I got myself to calm down and realize I booked her for a reason I went to look at her reviews and instead of finding all of the good reviews that were once there it was all horrible reviews from recent brides sharing there nightmare experiences with this woman. I found multiple reviews describing extremely concerning experiences involving alleged no-shows for weddings, significant lateness, and bridal parties reportedly not being completed at all because she was so late. I also saw a review referencing an alleged arrest involving serious charges while on the way to a wedding. Reading these after what I had personally just experienced sent me into a complete panic. After doing much more digging I began to realize that this lady has done this to MULTIPLE brides on there day of. I had paid a 950 deposit, which in hindsight was an enormous amount of money to put down. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable taking the risk that all of my contracted services would actually be performed properly and on time for a once-in-a-lifetime event. I contacted her more than two months before my wedding and explained that I was canceling because I had lost confidence in her ability to reliably perform the services. Initially, I was told not only that my 950 deposit would be kept, but that I would also be responsible for paying the REMAINDER of the contract balance. There were then attempts to characterize what happened at the trial differently from how I experienced it, including issues surrounding the scheduled services. Fortunately, I had documentation of our prior communications and confirmations. After I emailed that documentation and explained why I did not believe it was reasonable to demand the remaining balance given what had occurred, she ultimately waived the remaining balance. Unfortunately I am still trying to recover my 950 deposit.

Will not show up and will not refund you!
I would not recommend this makeup artist based on my experience. She did not show up on my wedding day, leaving me and my bridal party scrambling to find last-minute makeup services on one of the most important days of our lives. We made multiple attempts to communicate and resolve the situation professionally, but she was uncooperative. Weeks later, I am still waiting for the remainder of my refund for the services that were never provided. Despite repeated requests, the balance has not been returned. Since my experience, I have also learned of other brides who reported similar issues. She has ruined more then 5 brides and their wedding! Brides deserve a vendor who is reliable, communicates honestly, and honors their contractual obligations. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Every review that is about their horrible experience is real and every bride should be worried! She picks and chooses what wedding she wants to go to!

Wish I could review her work but she no showed…..
She no called, no showed to our appointment after I drove 45 minutes (one way) from Sacramento to Auburn. Her work looks beautiful on the review photos, but if you want someone reliable for your wedding, I wouldn’t put your trust in her. Also, her contract is VERY in depth, which I thought initially was very professional. Though, upon reading it again after she did not show up for our appointment, I realized it’s all to protect her. Even if she no shows to your appointments, the deposit is completely non-refundable….be careful! I lost 500 even though she was the one who did not show up for our appointment…..

Failure to provide wedding services and refund
I would leave 0 stars if I could. For the full details, please check out my review on google because Zola has a maximum character count for reviews. To sum it up on this platform, Kate was scheduled to provide makeup services for me (bride) and my bridal party on June 20, 2026, but failed to do so. What started with just a 15 minute delay turned into more delays every time I called. She continuously stated she was on her way and misjudged how far the drive was. That already is insanely unprofessional when she had several months to see where the location was after I signed my contract. What’s even more unprofessional was the false hope she kept giving that she was on her way. Ultimately, I received a call from her number, but from some stranger stating she wasn’t coming… over TWO hours after the agreed start time. As of writing this review on July 7, 2026, I still have not received any refund from her.
