Yes, Laura Reynolds Artistry receives many inquiries throughout the year, and dates fill up quickly. To secure your event date, we require a $100 non-refundable retainer and a signed contract. We cannot hold a date without these. We book on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot guarantee your date or confirm your artist without the retainer and contract.
Laura Reynolds Artistry schedules based on the number of services requested and the time constraints. We typically schedule one Master Artist for up to 6-8 services. (Hair & Makeup counts as 2 services) This can range from one Artist to up to 10 Artists depending on the needs of the appointment. Example: If you have 6 adults receiving both hair and makeup, that would equal 12 services and we would schedule 2 master artists. We schedule our team automatically based on the number of services that you request and book. We also have VIP options if you want to add multiple artists to have a customized/short getting ready window.
We require a minimum of 6 services for booking on weekends FRI-SUN during peak season (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Please inquire if your date qualifies for peak season or off-season. No minimum is required from Monday to Thursday or for early morning events before 8:00 AM. Hair and makeup each count as one service. For example, if 3 adults (including the bride) receive both hair and makeup, it totals 6 services. You can mix and match services to suit your needs. We also accommodate client-only and last-minute bookings when possible, so feel free to reach out about your special date.
Yes! LRA is available for events and bookings 24 hours a day. We are often up and working before the sun. Early AM rates are listed on our pricing and service menu. Fill out our contact form to receive pricing and availability.
Each event/ bridal party hair or makeup service takes approximately 35-45 minutes depending on complexity of style. Typically Bride’s hair and makeup services take 60+ minutes each. The bridal party is styled first and the bride is done three quarters of the way to almost last. The last 20-30 min of the getting ready timeline is reserved for touch ups. At that time will apply lips, touch up powder and make sure everyone is happy with services. All of our products are long lasting, waterproof & humidity resistant. It does not matter who sits first for hair and makeup because we fully touch up everyone before we go.
Our team is known for our iconic "Natural Glam" look. We like to call it red carpet beauty. Perfected flawless skin, and enhanced eyes and lips. We can achieve ANY desired look or outcome ranging from full glam, to soft and subtle. Simply let us know your goals and we will make it happen!
That is no problem! We are happy to customize your makeup to be as soft and natural as you like and feel comfortable with. The iconic "Elevated You" vibe is always a classic!
YES! We specialize in ALL skin tones, textures and ages. Every artist on our team has a full range of colors suitable for every color skin tone and texture type.
YES! We can work with all hair types. We can perfect a clients natural curl pattern with smaller curling rods ect.
We recommend scheduling your bridal preview trial 1-3 months before the wedding, once you have your hair accessories, jewelry, and wedding theme finalized, and your hair is close to the length and color it will be on the big day. Trials done too early often lead to a second trial closer to the wedding. If you prefer a trial before booking, we can accommodate that and temp hold your date. Out-of-town brides can schedule a trial anytime, and we will do our best to fit you in when you're in town. Appointments are typically scheduled Monday-Friday at our Orlando salon by appointment only, as weekends are usually booked with weddings and events
Products are chosen based on performance to ensure the highest quality in high definition film/photography and in person. All products are long wearing and durable and tested from years of experience. All makeup products Laura Reynolds Artistry team members use are non comedogenic (non pore clogging) and hypoallergenic (unlikely to cause irritation). If you have an ingredient or product concern, please let us know when booking an appointment.
What is the difference? Unlike traditional makeup, airbrushing sprays a fine mist so the makeup blends evenly on the skin. Our foundations provide the flawless coverage of your preference (from sheer to full coverage) and minimizes skin imperfections. The result is a beautiful and natural finish. Airbrush formula is HD quality and very long lasting, up to 12 hours.
We recommend airbrush for the majority of our clients, as it is long wearing, lighter, and natural feeling. Depending on the texture of the skin we can incorporate both traditional and airbrush. We are happy to use either traditional or airbrush makeup upon the clients request. Traditional foundations longevity is just as wonderful as airbrush foundation. Skin texture is the biggest deciding factor on what foundation type your artist will choose. All of the products in our kits are chosen and curated to preform best under all circumstances on film, photography, face to face, & to withstand the challenging weather of Florida.
You do NOT need to bring anything! Our team of artists are full time beauty professionals with fully stocked hair and makeup kits. Unless you have a super specific item/ product that you wish to use, you dont need to bring anything. Note: If we use a clients desired product and not our own, we can not gurantee the wear time or outcome if we are not familiar with it. The products in our kits are chosen and curated to preform best under all circumstances on film, photography, face to face, & to withstand the challenging weather of Florida.
YES! Our team comes prepared with our makeup kits fully stocked with enough faux lashes for multiple people. We carry different styles, and lengths ranging from natural to dramatic. Your artist will suggest the lashes that would flatter your makeup look and eye shape the best and we are always open to requests. We carry BOTH strip faux lashes and individual faux lashes. You do NOT have to let us know that you wish to add lashes to your makeup service in advance. We will always be happy to add them on the day of your event. Lashes are for one day use and should be removed before going to sleep.
Yes! You can add or deduct services up to 30 days to your event date (additions can be accommodated at any time). If your timeline needs to be moved up or back based on your photography or venue schedule we can always adjust it to your needs.

    overall i was happy but as the bride i was the last one to finish hair and makeup and it was rushed. The team did not have a schedule set up for bridesmaids and mothers and if they had that i think it would’ve went better. it was a very hot day and my makeup quickly came off by the end of the night and my hair fell flat. i also requested my bridesmaids to have minimal makeup but it was full glam. i essentially did not stand out as i had the same makeup. we were also not even offered airbrushed foundation. i am type B so overall it was fine but if you are type A would recommend being very clear and vocal with exactly what you want. also the team was gossiping with each other most of the time which i felt was not very professional. also felt like just another bride and not special. had to redo my mothers hair 3 times because it didn’t even look like her hair was done professionally.

    Laura Reynolds Artistry Laura Reynolds Artistry are the ones you need to book for your weddings and events. It's not even a question. Don't look elsewhere, don't hesitate, just do it. Lucky for us, they are grossly undercharging for their services, as the sisterhood and sheer talent they possess alone should and could easily cost double what they are asking. I decided against a trial, partly because I had no time for one, but also because I just felt somewhere deep down I could trust them without even meeting them. Their work online and word of mouth referrals were exceptional enough for me to feel safe essentially winging it day of. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed completely in tact throughout 90 degree heat and Florida humidity for a 4:30pm outdoor ceremony and good old partying after. My face is so oily and acne prone and my scalp sweats like a sinner in church, but there was not a drop of wetness on my head anywhere and nothing slid or moved, even when my dogs accidentally licked me not a drop of makeup was wiped away. Laura herself was sent here direct from heaven. She entertained and chatted with my mom for hours, was a Jeopardy board of fun facts and cool stories, and made every girl feel so beautiful and special. Not only did she give me a 10 minute head massage that I think relieved 40 years of tension from my 29 year old body, she also made me feel so loved and listened to. Laura took a single glance at a few of my Pinterest photos and replicated exactly what I had wanted. I love this woman with my whole heart. Marina - god what a doll. I have never seen my own sisters look so beautiful. The makeup she accomplished and the kindness she showed everyone, including my mom and mother in law is something I'll hold with me forever. I give this woman all my love and support my whole life through. My one singular complaint is that they refused to let me feed them, and as an Italian/German woman marrying a Haitian man, "no" was simply not an answer I wanted to accept. I genuinely cannot believe my wedding is over and I don't get to do it again next weekend with these women. I wish them nothing but all the love and success in the world, they deserve nothing less than the absolute best.

    Paytin, Lulu & Lucy rocked!

    Our trio of girls showed up early with smiles on their faces and great energy. They listened to each of our preferences and different requests and executed both hair and makeup perfectly. The energy was calm but postive- just what we needed to start off the big day. Paytin was able to perfectly craft my bridal hair and makeup even though we changed just about everything from the trial. I attached a pic from about 1 am on my wedding night showing how well the hair held up and we danced for hours! Highly recommend this company!

    The best hair and makeup artist!

    Laura was amazing to work with! She was always quick to reply during the planning process and arrived on time day of. I had several issues arise day of the wedding with the hotel making for a chaotic morning but she was super patient with me and did a great job of easing my nerves. It was the best having someone in my corner hyping me up. She did an incredible job on my hair and makeup - I have never felt so beautiful! My trial run was stunning and day of was somehow even better than that. My mom and two of my bridesmaids also had her do their hair and makeup and they also loved their looks. We all looked amazing the entire night. The only thing I would change is that I wish I would have asked her advice when planning where we were getting ready! The carriage house at Howey is so, so small and does not have the best lighting but Laura brought her own light and still managed to make us all look fantastic! I hope to work with her again in the future!
