Hi, I’m Melani, the owner and lead makeup artist behind Melicious Makeup & Esthetics! I’m a Metro Detroit-based makeup artist and licensed esthetician with over 8 years of experience in the beauty industry. I’ve specialized in bridal makeup since 2021 and graduated from Makeup Designory in New York after completing their 812-hour Master Makeup Artist Program. I love creating personalized looks that enhance your natural beauty while making you feel confident and completely like yourself. From soft and natural to romantic, timeless, or full glam, I’ll work with you to bring your vision to life.

What sets me apart is my combination of professional artistry, extensive education, and genuine passion for bridal beauty. With over 8 years of experience, an 812-hour Master Makeup Artist education from Makeup Designory in New York, and a background in esthetics, I bring both artistry and skincare knowledge to every appointment. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all makeup. I create personalized looks that enhance each bride’s natural beauty while staying true to her style and vision. Yes! Bridal makeup trials are available at my private makeup suite in Brighton, Michigan. Trials are a great opportunity for us to discuss your vision, test your desired look, and make sure you feel completely confident and beautiful before your wedding day.
Yes! I offer on-location bridal makeup services throughout Michigan. The first 25 miles of travel are complimentary, and additional mileage is charged at $0.66 per mile round trip. For locations more than 2.5 hours away, overnight accommodations may be required.
I specialize in bridal parties and can accommodate larger groups. I typically recommend up to 8 people for a comfortable wedding morning timeline when working solo, although I can accommodate up to 10 services depending on the schedule and start time.
Yes! False lashes are included with bridal makeup services, and the bride receives a personalized touch-up kit to help keep her makeup looking fresh throughout the wedding day. Additional touch-up kits are available for purchase!
I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for popular wedding dates and peak wedding season. Once your date is confirmed, I can review your bridal party size, location, and desired timeline to make sure everything fits comfortably into your wedding morning.
A signed bridal contract and a 50% non-refundable deposit are required to officially secure your wedding date. Your date is not considered booked until both the contract and deposit have been received.
I specialize in timeless, elevated bridal makeup that enhances your natural features while still looking beautiful in photos. Whether you prefer soft and natural, romantic and glowy, or more defined and glamorous makeup, I customize each look to complement your features, wedding style, and personal preferences.
Absolutely! I offer makeup services for bridesmaids, mothers of the bride and groom, and other members of the wedding party. I’ll work with you ahead of time to determine the number of services needed and create a timeline that keeps your wedding morning running smoothly.
Most makeup applications take approximately 40 minutes per person. I create a personalized timeline based on the size of your bridal party, desired completion time, and getting-ready location so everyone is ready on schedule.
Please arrive with a clean, moisturized face and avoid applying heavy makeup beforehand. Having your skincare routine completed before your appointment allows me to properly prep your skin and create the best possible makeup application.
Once you reach out, I’ll review your wedding date, location, number of people needing makeup, and desired completion time. From there, I can provide a personalized quote and answer any questions you have about booking, services, and your wedding-day timeline.

    From our first conversation, Melani at Melicious Makeup & Esthetics was quick to respond and thorough with every detail we discussed. On the morning of our wedding, she arrived early and brought such a calm, respectful energy to what could have been a stressful time. Melani really listened to what each person wanted and delivered exactly that! My girls felt beautiful in their makeup, and everyone got the look they were going for.     Mel made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! The makeup stayed on so strong and she took all of my notes from my trial and perfected the look. The kit she left me for touch ups was so helpful! She had my whole group of girls looking glowy and confident!

    Melani did mine and my bridal parties makeup for my wedding. We all were so happy with her work! Melani was super flexible with the timeline and made sure we all were happy before leaving. She included a touch up kit as well!! The whole bridal party got compliments all night on how nice our makeup looked! She was 100% the right choice to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day!
