My husband and I had an amazing experience with our maternity shoot! Anastasiia was absolutely incredible from start to finish! She was extremely patient, understanding, and genuinely took the time to make sure we felt comfortable throughout the sessions! Given our circumstances of waiting to get her a pass onto Camp Pendleton, she never made us feel rushed or pressured! She was so accommodating and made sure we can make adjustments with any little imperfections or flaws that came up. Her patience and kindness made such a difference and allowed us to enjoy our experience as we are going to be first time parents! We have had the pleasure of working with Anastasiia in two very special ways—first as someone who regularly rents our horses for her photography sessions, and most recently as our own family photographer. After seeing firsthand how she works with her clients and horses, we knew we were in great hands for our family photos, and she exceeded every expectation. Our family session included 8 adults, a toddler, and two infants, which could have easily felt chaotic or overwhelming, but she made the entire experience feel so streamlined, organized, and fluid. She knew exactly how to move everyone through each pose while keeping things relaxed and natural. Somehow, she managed to capture every combination and pose we hoped for, while also catching so many beautiful, completely unplanned candid moments. What stood out most was how effortless she made the session feel. There was no constant stopping and starting or feeling like we had to perfectly pose for every photo. She allowed the moments to unfold naturally, and those ended up being some of our absolute favorite images. She has such a wonderful eye for capturing genuine connection, personality, and the little moments you might otherwise miss. From the posed family portraits to the spontaneous smiles, interactions, and toddler-and-baby moments, she captured so much more than just pictures—she captured our family as we actually are. We are incredibly grateful for the memories she created for us and would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who is talented, patient, organized, and knows how to make a session feel enjoyable and effortless. Anastasiia is wonderful! We aren’t local to California, but she made it easy by finding out what vibe we wanted for our pictures, and giving location options. I would have had nowhere to start on location hunting! The contract was thorough, she sent tips on outfits and posing beforehand, meeting time and location was clear, and she got our pictures to us within the time frame we were expecting. The photo session itself went great - the ocean was a little crazy with the hurricane weather so she was cautious and made sure our daughters and our family were safe while on the beach. She was already familiar with the location and had posing ideas ready, so the session was smooth. She made sure our two daughters had fun and that our autistic daughter stayed interested. I am so happy with our photos, too! Anastasiia has a beautiful editing style that is natural, and we got so many great pictures back! So much variety in posing and composition. So happy we chose her as our photographer.
