About Anugraha Iyer Photography

Anu Iyer

I am a photographer based out of Baltimore, MD. I specialize in weddings, engagements, and portraits of all kinds. I have been taking pictures all my life, but my real photography journey started when my lovely wife (girlfriend at the time) Emma surprised me with a camera on our first Christmas together. She knew that I'd been itching for one for a long time, so she worked behind the scenes, getting all of our friends to pitch in for it. The look on my face was well worth it . I have fallen in love with the process of capturing moments of love and connection. I feel so lucky to be present for so many important moments, from pregnancy announcements to surprise engagements, to annual family portraits to beautiful weddings.

I think my greatest strength is that I consider it a great honour to be included in the process of memorializing such an important day. I care deeply about ensuring that your day goes as smoothly as possible, you can enjoy it as much as possible and begin this next chapter of your life with great excitement. Even if things don't go to plan, I enjoy pivoting and making sure I do everything that I can to help make it happen.

Best day ever!
On the day of the wedding, Anugraha made everything feel smooth and fun while capturing truly magical moments that felt so natural and personal to us. His eye for detail shines through in every photo—they're beautiful without feeling overdone or posed. We loved how unique his style is and how he managed to tell our story through his lens. An amazing photographer
Anugraha is an exceptionally talented photographer and I can’t recommend him more highly! We first worked with him for our wedding and loved our photos so much that we’ve continued to turn to him for all our big moments, including maternity photos, newborn shoots for our kids, and annual holiday card photos. He has an incredible eye for capturing beautiful photos and always brings great ideas, creativity, and flexibility to every shoot. He’s also wonderful with kids and makes the whole experience fun and enjoyable. He also delivers photos super quickly and his pricing is very reasonable given the quality and number of photos you receive. Beyond all that, Anugraha is just a genuinely wonderful and kind person. We always look forward to seeing him and will absolutely continue using him for years to come!

Don’t use anyone else
Anu, from start to finish, treated us like family and made our day even better than we could’ve imagined. We self planned, and unfortunately had to rely on his years in the industry to guide us on timeline. He offered his insights willingly and was never frustrated at our type b planning. Throughout the day, he made us comfortable in front of the camera & often had my microwedding laughing - which made these pictures truly perfect. He captured every little moment and unlocked a lifetime of iPhone stickers (iykyk) We also added on his Polaroid package and are in love! Getting to relive the night the next morning over breakfast was such a delight.

My Fairytale Dream
I was hoping to look pretty. I was wanting some beautiful shots. My mom has two good photos of her in her wedding dress and I was like if I could just have 1 or 2 timeless photos to show my kids one day, that would be enough. But I got the fairytale. Looking at my photos it is so unreal. What movie is this? What fairytale did I just walk out of? Anugraha was so willing, so ready. I showed him a few photos and told him my dream, and he gave me what I couldn’t have dreamed of. Eternally grateful.
