My name is Branson and I am the Best Of State Winner in Utah. I have traveled to over 80 countries photographing and filming weddings in all corners of the globe. I also teach photography and videography to other creatives and am known for my timeless, romantic, and candid style.

I have proudly won Utah's Best Of State award. I specialize in the photojournalistic, candid approach to the wedding day. I have been featured on over 50 wedding magazines including People Magazine, ABC4 News, and BRIDES, showcasing my work and quality of product.

So so incredible
I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Branson! Choosing a wedding photographer was one of the most important decisions we made, and I can confidently say we could not have chosen anyone better! From the very beginning, Branson went above and beyond to make our experience absolutely incredible. Not only is he unbelievably talented, but he is also one of the kindest, most genuine, and personable people you will ever meet! He made my husband and me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and made the entire experience feel natural, effortless, and fun! Our wedding day had so many moving parts, and Branson handled everything beautifully. He was organized, patient, professional, and amazing at giving direction while still allowing us to enjoy every moment. What stood out to us the most was how genuinely invested he was in making our day special. We never felt like just another couple on his calendar! Our wedding was everything I had dreamed of, and knowing we had someone as talented and trustworthy as Branson capturing those memories meant the world to us. The. coolest.
I really loved working with Branson Maxwell and his team. We had a great collaborative process and felt like we aligned on my vision, especially my bridal shoot, it's truly the coolest shoot I've ever done.

I can’t say enough good things!
I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Branson. From the moment we started taking pictures, he was kind, funny, incredibly patient, and so professional. He has this calm, relaxing energy that immediately makes you feel comfortable, which is such a gift on a wedding day when there are a million things happening around you. What impressed me the most, though, was how obvious it was that Branson truly cares about his art. He wasn’t just going through a list of pictures he needed to take. He was paying attention to everything. He would carefully pose us, adjust the smallest details, notice the way the sunlight was hitting us, and comment on how beautiful the lighting was. You could actually see him thinking creatively and looking for those little moments that would make a photograph special. Watching him work made me even more excited to see our pictures because I could tell how much intention he was putting into them. He was also unbelievably patient. Nothing ever felt rushed, awkward, or stressful. He made us laugh, helped us relax, and somehow made being photographed feel natural and fun. He was able to take control when he needed to while still being incredibly kind and easygoing. There’s a difference between someone who knows how to use a camera and someone who genuinely loves creating beautiful photographs, and Branson absolutely feels like the latter. I’m so grateful we chose him to capture one of the most important days of our lives. Thank you, Branson, for being such a wonderful part of our wedding day and for putting so much care into capturing it. We will always appreciate you!

Amazing Photographer
Branson exceeded my expectations for my wedding photos. He was on time and did still photos, then getting ready photos prior to the ceremony and reception. He was attentive and asked if we got all the pictures we wanted. He took many candid photos and made sure we knew what to do to get all the best photos as husband and wife.

Syriah
Syriah was amazing! She was so professional, yet chill and fun at the same time. We absolutely loved working with her! She has such a bright personality and was so kind to us and all of our guests. She was also great at coordinating large groups of people and helped guide us through all of the video shoots, which made everything feel so easy and natural. When our friends start getting married, we’ll definitely be recommending Syriah to them! 3
