I’m excited to say that the 2027 season (booking now!) will be my fifteenth year in business. I began my photo career as a photojournalist for several smaller newspapers, before taking on clients. I was photographer for Golden Artist Colors, based in New Berlin, NY, for five years. I am currently the principal photographer for the Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, NY. My work has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, and Opera Magazine, among others, as well as winning awards and appearing in several galleries. I am a member of Nikon Professional Services, as well as the Professional Photographers of America.

I tend to prefer rich, natural colors, and super contrasty black-and-white. I also tend to be a minimalist, preferring to capture natural moments throughout your day, as opposed to editorializing. The only place where I really coach posing is during family and formal portraits. All of my clients receive a permanent gallery on my website where they can download full-resolution files. Download them three days or three years after the wedding.

    Stunning Photographs

    Brent took our (amazing!) wedding photos and he has taken various other family photos for us over the past five years. The candid moments he captures are absolute treasures. Looking back at my wedding photos, I see the magic and emotion in so many moments. Those fleeting moments are so deeply special to have in photo forever. And every photo absolutely gorgeous! When a photo is posed, he will work with the light, and whatever environment you're in, to direct you into stunningly beautiful shots. I often feel that I'm not very photogenic, but I don't feel that way looking at photos that Brent has taken. I genuinely don't know how he does it... He has always been professional, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. He is also great with little kids and dogs. We have hired Brent multiple times and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone wanting to photograph anything special or important.

    I love my wedding photos

    Brent photographed my wedding in 2021 and these are photos will cherish for the rest of my life. He has a great eye for candid photos. He was very chill and accommodating. He also got our photos back to us pretty quickly.

Depending on the availability of my videographer, yes.
On average, clients book me about eight months in advance.
In my 15 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the exceptionally rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my associate photographers.
On occasion, yes. I will say that 90% of the galleries on my website were shot with one photographer (me). That said, if the occasion calls for it, I'm happy to have a second and/or assistants. If your wedding guests number above 150, or if you have a specific desire in terms of lighting, that's when a second or associate comes in handy.
I process all of your images myself. That includes culling the less desirable shots (closed eyes, etc.), color correction, white balance correction, and general style.
You can expect something like ~80 images an hour of photography, but that is merely a guideline. So much depends on your plans for your day, how many guests there are, venue, etc.
