Candid Captures by Kristina is a wedding & event photography company based in Bloomsbury, NJ. I am Kristina Karpew, the owner, and I am passionate about my work and active in my local community. I feel that life’s precious moments are to important to be missed, and would be thrilled to capture all the wonder and joy of your celebration.

I’m a lifestyle photographer, and I am very laid back. I like to capture the day as you envisioned it. I capture all the details, and I’m not big into posing. I enjoy capturing you in your moments, naturally.

Wedding photos
My husband and I hired Kristina for our wedding photos for our September 2026 wedding. From the start Kristina was so kind and professional. She is easy to communicate with, which is huge for us. The day of the wedding came and she was so excited and happy for us. She was great at picking out great angles and the perfect scenery for the background. We are in love with our photos! Everything came out amazing and we are so happy with the services Kristina completed for us!

I hired Kristina to do our wedding photography, we are so so happy with the outcome of our photos! They all came out beautifully. She was also super easy to work with and very responsive! Great work Kristina!

If you want the BEST photographer, Kristina is it! July 2026 she was hired for my daughter Sweet 16 party at a catering venue. Kristina is beyond professional and so engaging. Our entire family noticed not only how likeable Kristina is, but how she did her job while blending in and not distracting anyone or anything from the actual event. Besides the evening of the party, her photos came out AMAZING. It was an extremely busy time for us, so we were pleasantly surprised to see the evening in a timeline of photos; from the food spread, table settings, card/gift table...I can't express enough how great the photos were. Not only were they great, but the link came within a week. We are already looking forward to having Kristina photo shoot our daughter's senior pics! Highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed.
