The best day ever!

I am so glad that we chose Cherlyn to be our elopement photographer. Cherlyn has an amazing amount of mountain experience and local knowledge of Washington trails. She also has many outdoor technical skills, so she can join you for more adventurous activities - she joined us on a glacier climb! You can count on her to know the best spots to elope, best times to elope, and the current conditions at your planned elopement location as well as a number of other backup locations. Before the big day, she provided us with super thorough packing lists, created realistic timelines for the day which helped with our planning, and even helped us navigate uncertain weather forecasts and pick some backup locations the day before we were supposed to elope. Communication was always easy and thorough. We did a backpacking elopement with a few friends and I loved how Cherlyn fit right into our group. It felt so fun and natural to have her with us. She was constantly running around to get tons of different shots. She was working hard! Our photos turned out so beautiful and perfectly captured the essence of the trip. The lighting, the composition, the vibes of each photo - everything just feels right. My husband and I were so happy the entire trip with our friends and Cherlyn, and I’m so glad to have such wonderful photos to remind me of that experience.

Cherlyn helped plan my surprise proposal in Hurricane Ridge, Olympic National Park. She helped pick the perfect spot and created a meticulous plan to make sure we were on time for our sunrise hike and surprise! After the surprise proposal, she was a gem to work with and helped us pose for pictures that we adore.

We hired Cherlyn for our elopment in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest and she did an exceptional job end-to-end. She helped us get over some decision paralysis and move things along, made everything go exceptionally smooth the day of pitching in to bring some coolers for our lunch last minute, and of course took exceptional photos and delivered the previews the next day! We absolutely love the photos she captured of us. Cherlyn has a keen eye and was very humble and worked really hard for us all day. Her enthusiasm for nature and being outdoors also really shown through the whole day showing us some rare wild flowers. Thank you!

We hired Cherlyn to photograph our elopement in the Hoh Rainforest and we couldn't have picked anyone better for our amazing day. When one of our photography locations was suddenly unavailable, Cherlyn already had backup plans in place and made our day go smoothly and without stress. The sneak peek photos we have received from Cherlyn are already beyond our expectations. She did a wonderful job capturing the beauty of the natural landscape and also made sure to get plenty of us being silly. We highly recommend using Cherlyn for your next adventure!

Cherlyn was amazing from start to finish. Coming from Ohio and never having been to Washington state, she truly helped us figure out everything from location to hiking routes. She gave extremely helpful and detailed lists of places to stay and things to do when we remained the rest of the week for our honeymoon as well. From hiking with us, to even staying in her own campsite to do a crazy sunset to sunrise photoshoot- she was a gem. She was an amazing person to have guiding us, and an even amazing photographer. The photos we got were absolutely stunning and will be something we have to cherish those amazing days and adventures we took to start our marriage.
