    The best decision we made for our big day

    David and Melissa are the most amazing photographers I could have asked for! My now-husband and I chose Davissa based off their photos, and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They were so patient with my anxiety as the wedding got closer, always greeting us with smiles even when we were panicking. When we got our pictures back, they were absolutely stunning! We couldn’t have asked for better photographers to capture our special day!

    Timeless and extremely elegant

    Palmer Wedding/ Mother’s Day

    I have now had David Wilson Photography capture two very special moments in my life and I could not be more happy with the beautiful photos we now have to cherish each day. David had captured everything I had envisioned for bother our wedding and my first Mother’s Day. He was very accommodating and worked great even with the Wyoming wind, a dog who just wanted to play ball and a fussy baby fighting against him. He was also very prompt in editing and getting the photos to me both times. I cannot say enough good things about him and his extraordinary talent and eye when it comes to photography!

Yes! All of our wedding photography includes two professional photographers. Each will have a complete set of gear and a backup. It allows to ensure that we catch every special moment of your day and also provides a way for us to literally be in two places at one time.
Typically, couples book us about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about our availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Our turnaround time is typically about 3 to 4 weeks. That car vary during some seasons. One promise we make is that we don't rush our editing and preparation of your images, your online gallery or your slideshow is one is included. Often, we will provide a few images within a week for the couple to see and also to share on social media or with family and friends. But, the bulk of the images will be ready within the 3 to 4 week timeframe.
In our 25 years, we have never had to cancel a wedding. Now, we all know that things can happen so we never say never. In the event that we are sick, hurt, injured or some unforeseen act happens, we will do our best to secure a replacement photographer for you. We have a select few photographers that we will recommend because we know the quality of what they do is close to our standard.
We have been doing this for over 25 years and one thing we have learned above all else.... "expect the unexpected." So, we always arrive early on wedding day to ensure that we know where everyone and everything is. We get a look at everywhere we need to be and plan our movements at that time. We then start with the pre-ceremony shots and detail shots. As we move through the day we will be out of sight as much as possible but we will be where we need to be to get the shots you deserve. Our biggest goal is to have fun with you, keep you relaxed and comfortable while we build a portfolio of your memories.
The short answer is yes. We do work with all vendors in a professional and courteous way. We are all there to to do a job and provide you with an amazing wedding experience. Now, that being said, when we are shooting the more formal images for our couple we do ask that any video crews please stay out of our shooting area and not be an unwanted photo bomb. The images we take for you, particularly these will most likely be on your wall or in your album for years to come. While you enjoyed your video crew, they really don't belong on the wall with you.
