I'm Faris Jawher, the photographer behind FJ Photography in San Diego. I photograph weddings, engagements, and celebrations across San Diego County — and travel worldwide — in a classic, editorial, fine-art style. My couples get photography and cinematic film from one team, with calm direction on the day and honest storytelling: the real moments, not just the posed ones. Consultations are by appointment — I'd love to hear about your day.

Cookie Business Photography
Faris is a very organized and professional photographer. I called him to book a photography session for my new cookie business. He was very flexible with the scheduling process and was willing to meet with me and talk with me over the phone to go over my ideas and details that I had in mind. On the day of the photoshoot, he was VERY PATIENT and wanted to capture each detail perfectly as he was also showing me the pictures he was getting to make sure it matched my vision and that I was satisfied with the final product. The pictures and the videos he captured turned out even better than what I had imagined!! All of my friends and clients commented on the professional photos and videos, saying they almost looked “unreal”. Thank you soo much!! I do really recommend him as he is very professional, talented, organized, and always shows up on time.

Amazing Photographer and Experience!
I had such an amazing experience with Faris, he took my graduation photos and they turned out absolutely beautiful!! He was so kind and professional and made the whole experience really enjoyable. He took the time to ask what kind of shots I wanted and made sure to capture everything I had in mind. I was also so impressed with how quickly he got the photos back to me. He even asked if there were any edits I wanted or any preferences I had to make sure I was happy with everything! I absolutely loved how all the pictures turned out and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer!!
