After our engagement shoot with Heather I was immediately so relieved that I had booked her as my wedding photographer. She’s so easy going, funny, and transparent! Heather made us a mood board to capture the vibe of our engagement shoot, spent so much time posing us and researching locations for the shoot. She was so easy to get along with and knew exactly what I wanted! She sent my previews (so many!) the next day and I was in tears with how gorgeous they were. The photos sparked a new excitement for wedding planning for me, and I really can’t stop looking at them! Do not hesitate booking Heather. We hired Heather for our engagement shoot and our wedding day. We thought booking an engagement shoot would be a good way to get to know our photographer along the way so that way when wedding day came we felt more comfortable with each other. I cannot begin to describe the talent Heather has. She is very detailed, communicative, sweet, caring and does a phenomenal job on her photos. Upon booking we had a quick meeting on what style we were going for and I told her that I love pictures that look like it could be on a Vogue magazine. We continued to talk through the process leading up to our wedding day of what was important vs what was not as important. She was great and answered any and all questions we had. Her turnaround time for sneak peaks is amazing. The worst part about any photos is waiting to get them all back because you are just so eager to see them! When we got our full album for our engagement photos we were so excited. They were perfect and exactly what we had in mind and more. She gives you a generous amount of sneak peaks and even uses some film which I adore. The quality was amazing, and I felt like she truly captured my husband and I. She made us feel so comfortable during the process and we truly could not have picked a better photographer. She was willing to pivot as needed always with a smile on her face. The day of the wedding was a little chaotic which had nothing to do with her but everything with us and she was a trooper and did so good at trying to still get through our scheduled timeline as smooth as possible. We have not yet got our full album back but I have no doubt that they will be absolutely perfect. She gave us over 40 photos of sneak peaks and even some film to have on hand. We didn’t take our film home the night of the wedding because she offered to scan them and mail them to us and she even put them in a cute gold/glass keepsake box! We were so so so appreciative and were really grateful we found someone who captured all the moments of this special time in our lives. I encourage anyone looking to book their engagement/wedding photographer to please book her! You will not be disappointed. 🤍 We love her so much and wish we could book her for every event.
