JeLau Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding day. From the very first time we spoke, the owner Jen was so helpful, direct, and kind - making the entire process leading up to the big day smooth and stress-free. On the day itself, Jen kept me feeling calm and on schedule, and made every moment fun and enjoyable. The quality of their work is truly outstanding - the photos are absolutely beautiful and captured the perfection of our special day. Jen is an amazing person which makes her amazing to work with, and we are so grateful to have had her as our wedding photographer. We couldn't recommend JeLau Photography more highly!

Jenn is everything!!!

After we took our engagement photos with Jenn I knew it was a match made in heaven…. She was such a professional and made us both feel very at ease. We aren’t huge on posing for pictures for hours, but Jenn and her team made it super fun and relaxed! She gave us plenty of tips and direction on how to pose, but also allowed us to have some really genuine moments that were captured absolutely perfectly!! After working with her for our engagement session, I felt so at ease leading up to the wedding knowing she was going to capture everything I wanted (plus more!!). She truly made my wedding day run so smoothly, it wouldn’t have been nearly as relaxing and stress free if it weren’t for her. From helping with timelines, to making adjustments for a rainy morning…and stepping in literally wherever she was needed, I truly felt like she had my back! Jenn and her team (shout out JoJo and Leslie - y’all are the best!) are truly amazing and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

The fact that I hadn’t written a Google review about Jenn is actually criminal. My husband and I didn’t want a traditional wedding, but what that meant is that we also didn’t have the huge opportunity to document our love at this stage of life. We had just moved back to California and I knew of Jenn and her incredible eye for capturing moments in the most aesthetically striking way, and I had to work with her. We hired Jenn in 2024 for a couple’s photoshoot at Garrapata state park and she exceeded every expectation we possibly had. She was organized, communicative, prompt, and so freaking personable. We felt like we were working with a longtime friend who actually cared about us. I don’t know how she does it - how she has the energy to invest in building authentic human connections - but she does. Beyond making the experience so COMFORTABLE and fun, she produced the most stunning photographs that we look at daily. She’s a one of a kind small business owner and artist. We look forward to working with her again in a couple of months for a family mini shoot. I recommend her with zero reservations to everyone and anyone who wants to invest in capturing key life moments.

Jenn was the perfect choice to capture the surprise proposal in Big Sur! Every aspect of the proposal process was so comfortable and enjoyable thanks to Jenn. I could tell right away that Jenn was such a genuine person and a warm presence. Jenn helped ease nerves and provide great advice and guidance; from the initial call to discuss the proposal all the way through to receiving our photos. As my fiancée and I were not from California, I needed some additional assistance in picking the perfect location for the proposal. Jenn listened to my initial ideas and completely understood the type of scenery we were trying to capture and showed me the perfect location! She also helped me figure out how to transport the ring on our flight and during the first few days of our trip before the eventual proposal. Jenn would always make sure to answer in a timely manner so you don’t build up any extra nerves waiting for a response. My fiancée and I are a little shy during photos, but Jenn was able to get us out of our comfort zone and try so many new poses with her communication and personality. It felt like having an old friend take our photos! Jenn was able to get us our complete gallery within two days and they all came out fantastic! We could not have asked for a better experience!
