Natural Perfection. Warm Professionalism

Kassandra Months later, I am still stunned by Kassandra's artistry and professionalism. I was looking for a photographer who would capture the beauty of the day and make it special without it feeling posed or contrived, classy and simple, but emotional. She is a true master of light, composition, and people. Without a long list of required poses, she caught the moments and images I didn't know would be among my most cherished. On her professionalism, I cannot say enough. During the consultation phase, she was generous with her time and responsive. She kept in contact in the time leading up. Took initiative to coordinate with our coordinator and venue. My beach wedding was on a day the beach was PACKED. I'd expected lots of extras in the background. Nope. Thanks to her flawless editing, it looked as intimate as it felt. Despite this, she timely delivered the sneak peek and the photos (I didn't expect for A WHILE given the amount of work she put in). An aside on her as a person, she is a joyful light of a human that added to the love fest that was my wedding day.

Kassandra photographed our wedding at Sequoia Retreat Center in June 2027. We also did an engagement session with her. She was so excellent to work with--kind, professional, fun, and talented! We looked through a bunch of potential photographers and repeatedly felt like the photos we were seeing lacked authenticity and heart. Kassandra's photography stood out, and in talking with her, it was clear that she cared about her clients and taking care to capture such special moments. On our wedding day she was organized, efficient, and captured moments that felt super authentic and reflected our memories of the day--not just posed shots that we did purely for the photos. My only regret is not having enough budget to pay for a second shooter because her partner is also an excellent photographer! She was kind enough to include a few of his excellent photos in our collection.

I’m a clueless dad of two boys, and the thought of photos was completely overwhelming—but Kassandra made the entire process seamless. She was a rockstar from start to finish, patiently emailing back and forth with outfit and location ideas. My youngest absolutely hates photos, yet Kassandra was kind and patient with him, making the experience stress-free. Even in the cold and windy Santa Cruz weather, she made it work beautifully. I’m so glad we chose her for this!
