Ahh you made it this far and I am so happy that you are here. Come get to know me a little bit better… I am a Hudson Valley photographer who occasionally dips their toes in NJ too. Having fun and capturing special moment with your loved ones and families is what makes my day. I am a girl mom to my favorite tiny human RyRy and a fire fighters’ wife and when you don’t see me behind a camera or working my full-time job as a graphic designer, I am usually soaking up the sun at the beach or outdoors doing something fun with my family.

I have been photographing for 4 years now and loving every moment of it. Traveling to beautiful new locations and working with everyone is just one of the fun parts! Don’t be afraid, if you're shy in front of the camera I have lots of poses and prompts to help instruct you and make you feel comfortable. We are there to have fun after all!     Best photographer!

    From our first conversation with Katie Ellen Photography, we knew we had found our photographer. Katie was responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process, and she showed up on our wedding day as someone we genuinely felt like we were working with a friend.     Creative, Happy, and Amazing

    I have worked with Katie several times over the last 2 years and she is SOO easy to work with. Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. I do want to note though if you are a September or October wedding I encourage you to reach out ASAP since that is the busyness time of year for weddings.
Are you looking to enhance your photography experience? We invite you to consider the inclusion of a second shooter in your package. This addition serves as a reliable partner on your special day, capturing all the enchanting moments from various perspectives. Please note that this valuable enhancement incurs a nominal additional fee of $50 per hour.
Certainly! Each image will receive meticulous attention, with vibrant colors, enhanced saturation, well-balanced exposure, and crisp sharpness. You will be presented with a stunning, fully-edited gallery that is sure to impress.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. But I do work closely with a videographer friend that I always highly recommend to all my clients.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 2-5 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
