Hi there! I'm Khoa, a San Diego based wedding photographer who enjoys spending time with good people and road trips. I love all things weddings because witnessing couples' happiness brings me joy and fuels my creativity.     The best wedding photographer!

    My husband and I hired Khoa to photograph our wedding day and our engagement and we are so happy with our photos and our experience working with him. He is so talented and captured everything so beautifully, better than we ever could have imagined! My husband and I are generally quite camera shy and don’t love having our photos taken, but we genuinely had so much fun working with Khoa - it felt like getting pictures taken by a (really talented) friend. We never felt awkward or out of our depth. Khoa was so thoughtful, encouraging, and provided just enough guidance to help us along without ever being intrusive or overbearing. It was really important to us to feel like ourselves on our wedding day, without having to pose and posture too much, and Khoa struck that balance perfectly! To top it off, Khoa is professional, responsive, and so reliable. I am Vietnamese and it was also so helpful to have someone bilingual to shepherd and wrangle my family together on our wedding day. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Khoa and could not recommend him enough! (Photos on digital and film!)

    Incredible!

    Khoa exceeded our expectations. I had a vision with some Pinterest inspirations, and he completely exceeded my vision! From the very start, he was very professional and reliable. On the day of we were both nervous because we both don’t like getting our pictures taken and he gave us so many good pointers and tips that made our pictures look incredible. We genuinely enjoyed getting our pictures taken. I am so thankful that we booked him and cannot recommend him enough!

    Beautiful photos, great service

    Khoa took both our engagement and wedding photos, and wow did he exceed our expectations. He was very accommodating to our requests and willing to travel (Sequoia National Park and Sedona, AZ) to help create our vision. He was great to work with - an excellent communicator, professional during the shoot, and had the photos ready for us well before we were expecting! By all accounts, we were extremely satisfied with Khoa’s services and would certainly hire him again to capture our future memories.

    Beautiful photography for San Diego civil ceremony

    We found Khoa after searching through dozens of photographers in SD County. We planned to have an elopement at the County Clerk's office and wanted someone to be able to capture the intimate moments of the day very artfully since we wouldn't have a big wedding or any guests. Khoa had excellent communication, was very professional, and made our day even more special by agreeing to be our witness. In a way, he brought me a lot of comfort since we didn't have any friends or family there. My now husband and I rarely take photos even for socials or anything personal and are super awkward in front of the camera, but Khoa provided just enough guidance and direction that it felt very natural posing for the camera without it feeling like an entire production or feeling too stiff. I really appreciated that he asked us what we prefer the focus environment should be-- whether its architecture or nature, to ensure that he captures the vibe we were looking for. He delivered the final products very quickly and his post edits were beautiful-- the colors, light, and balance of us and the backdrops were absolutely stunning. I highly recommend his service to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

    Photography

    We hired Khoa for our wedding pictures and could not be more pleased! We reached out for a custom quote given the amount of hours requested. He quickly responded and set up a zoom meeting to understand more about our expectations of the day and a general timeline. We were worried about rain, which luckily didn’t happen, and Khoa was able to offer his expertise advice in the event it did. The day of the wedding, he was very friendly, had a true creative eye for detail, and was very professional. He delivered far more photos than we expected and within 2 short weeks. We were so excited to share with everyone and everyone was very impressed with the photos. We definitely recommend Khoa!

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
Typically, couples book me about 9-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. I'll send you a link to your online gallery with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of shooting. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
Mostly just me. If you have a bigger list of more than 120 guests and your getting ready, ceremony, receptions are at different locations, that's when a second photographer comes in handy. I have photographers that I've been working closely with and we know how each other works.
